I saw Donald in 1968 in Las Vegas. He was

so full of pep he knocked over part of the set.

Have read about his movies w/ Peggy, but

have never seen anything but clips. Wonder

if they still exist.

Donald was great. The Academy should have

given him an Oscar.

I love how Ryan hits that facial kick at 0:17 - it took me a couple of viewings for it to sink in. I should only be so flexible! And O'Connor's take is flawless. This is real talent.

The blond lad at 1:41-1:50 is Bobby Scheerer, a terrific dancer and quite an accomplished director as well.

That's actress/dancer Shirley Mills, who (among her other screen credits) was one of the Jivin' Jacks and Jills in many of Universal's "hep cat" movies. At one point in time, Universal considered replacing O'Connor and Ryan with her and Bobby Scheerer.
