There was an incident in kansas city where a firetruck with lights and sirens flashing ran out of a boy who ran in front of the pumper (As its called here)
Because I am a news videojournalist who was heading to the same incident. I was a volunteer then paid firefighter for 11 years. before I went into news media. I am currently with a professional department shooting training and incident video as well as news video.

I had a driver, we remained a safe distance, did not speed and once I had the responding shot we backed off.
did the Landlord tell anyone this was going to happen or just suspect everyone knew somehow? if he did not he should be in jail for some sort of murder charges if anyone was killed. If a building was going to colapse occupents should be advised about it should they not?
@smartestinUSA Well I guess if they have a crystal ball we could require them to plan their collapse better. Anyway no injuries as it was a vacant building.
well it is the fact that your type of enviroment is used to fire and ems and plice runningaround all the time but I rather make all the noise and not hit soemthing or have them hit me so get over it, as far as being a real firemen ... buddy most firefighters are real and not like you thank you

In fact its a EQ2B siren! its an Electric Q, the problems with the electric Q are that instead of sucking air trough them like real Q´s the EQ2B siren has just a speaker that performs it. So when driving fast or when havving strong winds the Eq2B is just like any other Electric siren, it cant be heared, and then accident happens!
are you sure that's an EQ2B? It sounds like a federal, because the Q on rescue 3 seems to not have that annoying electric undertone to it. At the high points of its use, it's holding like a federal. Maybe I'm wrong, but I know FDNY is starting to use Q's again so ya never know which is going to be used. Great vid by the way!

It was on 131st Street just west of Park Ave. I don't recall the exact street address but yes it is Manhattan.

No, rescue 3 is the only rescue rig in the FDNY to have a REAL Q. the new res1cue pierce has an eQ2b tho... blech.
