Strange, the lanterns idea seems good but they've only really become popular in the past couple years and everyone does seem generally surprised. They do seem to be moving with the wind (all in the same general direction and normal weather effects could explain the changes in altitude). Only problem is that they're very bright for lanterns, i'm not sure a normal camera could pick them up so well and there's not a night vis camera being used (you'd see the ground etc in more detail).

They are sky lanterns and the flashes you see are fireworks which are on a long fuse... The lantern fly's for around 20 minutes and the firework fuse can be anything from a 2 minute fuse to 15 minute.

Well, they really were unidentified flying objects. Whether or not they were spaceships from other worlds, that´s up for debate but one thing I know for sure is that they were not airplanes or helicopters, especially since they were completely silent. They also didn´t behave like balloons or lanterns. Their flying pattern would not be consistent with that. So that only leaves one option, they really were unidentified. Who knows?

They all move at the same slow speed...one light even pulsated....one started to drop to the ground...they all faded it out.

To a YouTube viewer this comes across as a hot air balloon or Chinese Lantern. Both emit light, when there's not enough heat they drop, when wind catches a flame it flickers.

As much as I believe in UFO's, trying to convince viewers of what you really saw is impossible.
