I think this song should have ended around 4:50. There are at least half a dozen logical endings before the actual end, but the orchestra just keeps on playing. I have my copy of the song set to end early.

Most full orchestral (non-lyrical) follows a musical storyline. Something interesting. This is not the case. It follows a pattern of 'rise from nothing and fall to nothing' for like 3 minutes. In fact, it's so stale that this is my least favorite song on the album. If not for this crap 'ending' it might be among my favorites.
