I personally see it like this: whatever any woman wants to do (perm or natural) is her choice...being that the choice is one you honestly feel is right in her heart. The only thing I would say is if you decide to relax know how to take care of your hair properly AND if you go natural know how to take care of your hair properly. Either choice is NOT hard.
Nether relaxed hair or natural hair is hard to maintain as long as you have the proper information to take care of your hair. Also something I try to remind myself is that no one is going to like what I do all the time. Some people like straight hair, some like curly...some like long and others like short. U can do it! Believe it or not, if you go to my profile pic on my channel my hair is natural and it has been since Aug. '07. I love being natural. Natural hair is so diverse. It's not like you can't flat iron your hair, you use the flat iron after a relaxer anyway. I always get asked if I have a relaxer after flat ironing my hair, and the answer is always NO.LOL.After going natural I've seen my hair get thicker and it's even healthier. I didn't do the BC, I just let my relaxed hair grow out.
