Its not that I need strength, its that I go out of stealth because shooting while in stealth drains all your power. So I leave stealth to shoot, then return to stealth without losing much power.
Strength mode also helps steady your shot, which is helpful when sniping long distances where the tiniest movement of your arms will make the view move a lot. Strength mode also reduces recoil.
hi, At the time I recorded this video (12/07), I was using the following specs: MSI P6N Diamond LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i E6400 @ 3.04 Ghz 4 GB DDR2 1000 mhz Gskill 5 5 5 12 Evga 8800 GTX 798/1250 Now days Im running : Asus Rampage Formula Q6600 @3.4 ghz 8GB Gskill DDR 2 @995 mhz Sapphire HD 4870 X2 Thanks for asking! :-)
Yea I like the extra ram because I do a lot of video editing and digital media stuff with Adobe Creative Suite so I often have a lot of apps open and raw media files. And of course, it never hurts when encoding media.
And yea, I did some pretty crazy shit with that E6400 haha, the thing overclocked pretty well considering I took it out of an HP media center back in '06 hahaha. Didn't even watercool the bastard but it did get pretty warm.
actually theres a lot of way to use the nanosuit commands. i can beat a bunch of enemy combining armor and stealth in the open no hide at all when you run out of energy switch to armor mode and wait at least 1.75 sec to refill the energy and go stealth again. this works on all difficulties. along with meat shield where you grab an enemy and make him as your shield.
Maximum strength makes your aim more steady. But the real necessity to changing power is that shooting from stealth will drain the entire power of the suit -- so switching before shooting is prudent, in order to immediately re-enter stealth.
YAHAHAHAHA nooB! u starts like a pro YA HAHAHAHHA. A great game bug not ever the Crytec have noticed that after switching on the invisibility the shadows doesnt disappear.Crytec should have to work alot heheh!.
Yea, I do the switching too, but I just walk around with the pistols and shoot headshots in a crowd point blank. You can walk and gain energy while cloaked if you can get the timing down.
I've been told that XP can give better frame rates, and through a config hack, can achieve the same graphical experience as XP on Dx10.
I don't know personally because I've never played this game with XP. I think the general concensus is that XP gives better performance with this game, although I don't complain about the performance I get with Vista 64. Maybe if I was running on a larger monitor I would think of switching.
i can do this at these settings- i have BFG 8800 gts 512mb SLI XD perfect framerate but yea u suck at sniping. you would get pwn3d in multiplayer. practice makes perfect though ;)
I switch to strength because shooting from cloak depletes all of your suit energy. It's better to switch before taking a shot because you won't lose all of your suit energy.
why does he put maximum strengh to shoot?? sorry i never played this game thats why i am asking cause am very curious lol and dumb too :)

Why do you max str every time you make a shot? does a sniper not one hit by itself, at that distance? it looks like you are headshotting ;P
