  • NICE! ;)

  • eventually going to ruine such a nice looking joints... makes me very sad:)

  • doesn't matter at this point, cause the treadmill is moving all the time:)

  • @IRONSPECIALIST Yes, but at a very slow walking speed. Fast would be a serious problem and dangerous. I teach yoga so protecting joints and posture are really important to me. I would only ask you to try it out first before making a definate decision. I started this exercise because I had weak knees and ankles.

  • very unhealthy exercise for your knees... you should be fired...

  • @IRONSPECIALIST The reason it's so important to do this on an incline is to take the weight bearing part of the exercise off of your knees. It puts more of pressure in your hips, butt and legs instead of your knees. Traditional lunges force pressure downward so any lunges should be done with some elevation to elevate that pressure. Make sure if you are doing or trying this workout to have the treadmill on an incline, otherwise I would agree with you that lunges can be harmful. :)

  • This was the most amazing video I have ever seen. You have some awesome workouts. Please make more.

  • Thank you. I have more filmed, just need to get my husband to load them. I'll get on him to get them done.

  • awesome video. thanks! :)

  • Shannon, what's the speed when you do the workout?

  • @amisevi

I normally have the speed on about 1.2 to 1.5. Every treadmill's speed is a little different so just make sure you are able to do the exercise keeping your torso tall (not leaning over too much), using your legs more than the hand rails and keeping a balanced posture. Form is always more important than weight or speed when doing any exercise for toning and strengthening.
