  • No top comment? Quick someone say something stupid!

  • awesome =D

  • Shame on those people who sent you rude comments, you are very talented and creative, I found this fun to watch and your commentary was great.

  • Ask NASA if you can send a high quality HD camera to view the upper atmosphere, ALSO ask them if you can receive the signals directly from your experiment with your own antennas and equipment. Also, ask them what are these things: (they are way faster than the shuttle)

    /watch?v=T52TIUA5adw

    /watch?v=N1YMPT1mdaU

Why do they follow the shuttle, why are they self luminous, how can they make 90 degree turns, how can they accelerate to 100,000 mph almost instantaneously?

  • Well done, young man. We look forward to seeing you on TV one day. :)

  • Great description little buddy !

  • NICE VIDEO JASON, MORE POWER TO YOU !!!

  • Nicely done !

  • Not bad going, it's quite well written but your delivery could be better.

  • I like the video. When I was a boy, I madea photo story about the Shuttle too. The good old days. But it´s 30 years ago;-)

  • I like the video. When I was a young boy, I made a shuttle-story with photos. I never owned a videocamera in the early 80s.

  • Liftoff! Another successful launch of the Endeavor (?) Space shuttle! Some day you will work on the Mars Human Expedition, Jason! I wonder if NASA is going to put some of the Space shuttles on Ebay now that they are not in use? I really want one if the price is not too steep!

  • jason you are so clever and creative, well done on the video.

  • Well done and thanks for your effort !

  • Sweet :)

  • Anything you or your Dad does with your son will make a tremendous impact on his future. I am 54 and blessed to have another son who is now 5 years old (I lovingly call him my "Little Mid Life Crisis"). It is so great to take him and his 15 year old brother camping, building rockets, or whatever. You'll never have a second chance to enjoy their childhood, so do all you can together NOW.

  • Not what i was expecting, but then again, neither was my xmas present !

You enjoy yourself kid, well done and I'll look for more in future.

  • Very good - you will become an austronaut!

    Many greatings from Austria /Europe!

  • I'm re-living my 1980's childhood here! I had so many models just like that when I was his age. Good Job! Everyone needs a hobby!

  • well done little man i enjoyed that insight into the space shuttle..

  • What's sad is that this kid knows more about this than me. :D

  • its the atlantis and you sure know your rockets man

  • its the atlantis and you sure know your rokets man

  • this kid knows a lot more than most grown ups... keep on keeping on...

  • Fantastic job on the video! Anyone that bashes such a video should think twice. This kid will be a leading member of the space industry in the near future...

  • how can people not like this

  • duude thats amazing !! well done Jason :D

  • Great to see a kid so interested in spaceflight.

  • Sounds like you have a pretty cool grandpa there, Jason :)

  • Is this the Space Shuttle Columbia Model??

  • @junglebites19 in the description and at the start of the vid he said atlantis

  • Love the vid, just wish my brother would get interested in something like you, instead of fighting all the time and allowing me to get the blame, I am 15 and doing GCSE physics, and the is some stuff unbthere I didn't know, keep believing and if that's what you want to do, keep your heart set on it, I AM going to be a pilot, I know I will.

  • @FsxViper Hey, go for it! Ill be starting cpl next year

  • very good video !!!

  • He is pretty creative.

  • get your pilots certificate mate I started flying at 14 best idea ever!

  • @tnhl77 on a glider?

  • cool

  • Well done Jason!

  • Nice video for a seven year old. Great power of imagination, and wonderful understanding of the shuttle process for such a young mind. Perhaps a simple re-labeling of this video to say something like "Seven year old boy's computer simulation of shuttle launch" would alert viewers to what they would be seeing, and eliminate the negative comments.

  • Wow, you really know your stuff Jason, very informative thanks.

  • Ground control to Major Jason!!

  • Nice video, but you have to remember one thing. ALOT of people hate hearing 7 year old kids talk, and sometimes, I do too. If you still make videos, concider lowering your voice. I kinda liked this video.

  • Nice!

  • i love how u guys explain every thing of how the shuttle launches and land s and every thing and for a kid about my age nowing all this is vary cool but now im almost 13 but still this is vary cool to watch and my class loves to watch this well i mean my class mates im not a teacher

  • This is kinda funny :D.. i'm 14, and i wanna be a pilot xD :D since i was 4 yrs old -.-... been flying Flight sim for 3 years now -.- xD

  • i really enjoyed this video... ...im 8 years old now and i really like planes and space shuttles... ...i watched alot of videos about those subjects and im telling you right now that this is one of the best... ...thank you... ...i think your going to have a very good future... ...thank you.

  • stay fly kid...dont let them haters pass you by.......dont listen to those crazy rude people

  • very good for a seven year old.

  • Way to go major Jason!

  • That was a great video little man.

  • Cool vid, but where is the fire that is supposed to come out of the reactors? <:D

  • Nice job! There's no need to leave hate comments, it's fine as it's done by a 7 years old who did it quite well actually. Before posting any comments, think of yourself: Could you've done this as a 7 years old / Did you do as a 7 years old? ;D

  • awesome video, i love seeing the younger generation still in love with the idea of flight, if your ever in houston look me up and ill take yall for an aerial tour of houston ;)

  • nice job kid

  • we got a rocket scientist here.

  • I would have never expected a 7 year old to know that much of information on space shuttles! Very nice and very descriptive!

  • cool

  • How cool to see kids enjoy astronomy! And most important Dad son time!

Sub to my channel for waesome moon clip with my telescope!

  • Very fine video...

  • Cute Kid

  • very cool.i dont see how people can leave crap comments, its a 7 year old for crying out loud, also he has an interest in space exploration.whats there to leave rude comments for?

  • omg

  • Nice:)

  • It's cool that at 7 he learned so much about the shuttle. Too bad now that he's about 10 that there won't be anymore shuttle missions. I thought I was the only kid that knew about the launch and landing sequence of the shuttle at 7. Now I'm 30 and I'm sad to see the shuttle program end. See if you can find a copy of the Space Shuttle Operator's Manual. Great book. I read that thing over and over when I was in 5th grade. It's got great pictures and diagrams, and execellent technical information.

  • great video!

  • the computer graphics on this are sweet

  • That is awesome! I wish I knew this much at 7.

  • Are you not to young to be in space command centre. I like the model but unfortunately the stop motion isn't too great. That's why only 3*

  • THUMBS UP!

  • Actually the Main tank burns up in the atmosphere :)

  • wow...bunch of dream killers in here with 162 dislike votes....for what it's worth...i voted thumbs up kid :)

  • wow......i was expecting to find a string of rude comments. This is a glimmer of hope for youtube. Nice vid btw, I remember being young and being obsessed with rockets and space and because of it, I'm now a pilot :D

  • @windseeker242 Believe me, my friends, there has been a nasty string of rude, vicious, and hateful comments for the last three years that of course I deleted and shield my now 10 year old from. Too bad. Some people don't deserve the joy a 7 year old can bring. He's still proud of this 3+ years later and so am I.

  • @BobWhit bravo!!!!! :) tell your little guy that thing is cool !!

  • @BobWhit

tell me about it! Youtube is, sadly, 80% kids, who are uneducated and just like polluting the internet with crap!

thanks for the video! i am trying to get my 4yr old son interested in space enough to want to become an astronaut :o)

  • i forgot to add check my channel for clips i took of the moon ,iss, and other astronomy stuff, ! Cheers, i added you as a friend and subbed to your channel :o)

  • Love it , i am from Canada and we are fortunate to have youtube to watch thos clips, my son is 2 yrs and my daughter is 4 and they are very into astronomy and spaceships and discovery! , keep up the good work son!

5 thumbs up for this awesome clip1 :o)

  • good job , well done .

  • Have you guys heard? The made a model shuttle that does all the steps! I cant wait till i get it!

  • I used to play with Moon Lander. My uncle bought a couple of those cardboard models at a gas station, here in Central America, some 41 years ago. My neighbors, here, invented cero and made a calendar which is more exact than those used for us. I agree with today's astronautical tech! Congrats guys!!!

  • try model rockets

  • ummmmmm haha

  • since he likes space flight matbe he should use model rockets nice vid

  • cool!!

  • Looks like you guys had fun making this video. :)

  • I like it a lot. Thanks. :)

  • good job kid!

  • Way to go kid! Keep up the good work,

  • Nice. It's a shame the shuttle program is coming to an end. Good on yah kid.

  • Excellent job Jason!

  • smart kid...

  • Pray your not in a little fishing boat where that tank lands.

  • awsome! and cute! :D

  • lol gotta love little kids science projects, mustve sounded really smart back then

  • nice

were'd you learn all that stuff

  • HAHAH cute voice

  • well done!

  • Too cute!

  • Jason, that's too cute bro! Your gona be the first kid to go up into space when u get a little older. Your very very smart Jason! Good luck, an keep up the great work bro!

  • @Sergeantsteamer Lol yeah right.... Just because he made this video you think hes going to get launched in a nasa mission? I know way more about the universe, time, nasa missions, launching procedures and processes and im still a young boy. This kid is smart. Not an astronaut lol

  • Werner Van Braun who brought the idea of reaching out there to this motherland. It is the people today who dream of being free that not only look at bus stations and think they will be treated right it is also for those who wander into space, where nothing has to come to an end.

  • Very Thank You for your deep-in brainstorm!!! :)

I just have other furture question above space exploration:

    (1) Why do we feel that space food are so interest and special?

    (2) Why do we want to try and to taste space food?

  • 1. I tried space food once. It's like the marshmallows in lucky charms. I can answer one and two in just one. I believe that us that are interested in space, enjoy the idea of space food. It gives us that feeling and slight experience of being in space. It's great especially for kids who are interested in space. To them, they're eating what our heroes such as Neil Armstrong have. Sorry if I'm not clear enough. I'm 15!

  • Thank You for your answer!!! :)

  • 3. The American dream is to live freely in America and take part in our short, yet fascinating culture. Not many countries have space programs, nonetheless like ours. The American dream also includes those of other origins which mean they can help in our space program. It was a german man,

  • 2. Freedom, I guess you can say is an influence on our space program. Freedom, not only being in terms of government, can also mean living freely and enjoying life. Space is fascinating. There are no limits, no dead ends to what can happen in space, just as there is freedom in America.

  • Dude you rock. To bad obama is going to take all of our freedoms from us.

  • lol

  • furgee, dude, what the hell?

Can you say "non-sequitur?" Learn the meaning of that term. Memorize it. Learn to apply it, and avoid crazy non-sequiturs like that in the future. Make ridiculous claims like that on political vids, where they belong.

  • @JorickHorn give him a break, the kid has done a good job

  • congratullations from Spain, good job

  • LOL!

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about sociology and culture:

    (1) Why do we have a preception that aerospace is closely related to America?

    (2) Is that because Amercans' culture of freedom?

    (3) How does aerospace advancement related to "American Dream"?

I would guess that aerospace is closely related to Americans' values including hard working, creative, bravery to chanllenge, freedom, and liberty.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • the yanks have the biggest egos and want to always prove themselves all the time!

  • need help on your homework or something?

  • I am not doing homework, but I am starting an aviation business.

If you have some thought, welcome to show-and-tell!!! :)

  • 1. Americans are interested in aerospace. We have an advanced space program that the government puts a lot of effort into. Americans have been the first to land on the moon, and since then our expectations have only grown.

  • Really good job buddy!

  • Good work fella!

  • How interesting, the best part was when the kid said "THE END" :-|

  • how come all the fuel seems to burn up from 0:15 to 0:18. it flies and speeds up w/o burning fuel. Greg: i think he may go into video editing, but probably in a long time.

  • ...lol

  • yo nice keep trying dood make a real one lol

  • Lol great vid 5/5 stars

  • lol i love it =)

  • wow good for a kid his age but not the best keep trying!

  • cute

  • Actually, it does burn up in the atmosphere. The solid rocket boosters land in the ocean.

  • Hi Jason,

Brilliant little video you have done. 5/5 stars young man.

I fly big model planes in England and I am sure your dedication to flying will end up with you doing something simular.

Keep up the good work... I look forward to seeing some of your other videos.

    Best wishes,

    Greg (UK England)
