  • can u please explain the steps in putting the videos from the ipod to the computer? I have a PC, and went to look in the folder but couldnt find it, can you please help? also can you please explain the steps in deleting videos from the ipod?

  • Not sure how else to do it with a Windows computer other than looking on the Nano like it was a Flash drive. Look in the DCIM folder for .mp4 or .mov files. To delete them on the iPod, select Video Camera, then press the menu button to see a list of dates. Select a date. Use the scroll where to select a video. Click and HOLD the center button until the delete menu appear. Choose Delete.

  • thank you that really does help! :) but im computer lierate..lol...where would i find the DCIM folder? in "my computer"?

  • Well, I'm not a Windows user, so I'm not sure. It probably depends on what version of Windows you have. The Nano should appear just like a USB Flash drive or a CD or DVD. Look for it and then look for the DCIM folder inside it. Maybe find a friend who knows more about the Windows OS to help.

  • hmm doesnt appear where the flashdrives usually are but ok thanks for the help!! :)

  • so you can delete videos directly from ipod???

  • Yes, you can delete the videos you recorded directly on the iPod if you don't want to keep them.

  • okay, thanks so much

  • i got an ipod nano but it dont have a camera at the bottom

  • Very informative. Thank you.

  • great review.

  • I lost your last video, b/c of that damn stop/start motion that hasn't gone away on YT even after I upgraded to Adobe 10.

    It didn't even get better.

I can't afford a Nano now. I lost half my hours.

I was thinking Lost my hours?

When DOESN'T at least someone need a Paramedic. My service apparently thinks they can do without my ingenious professional knowledge and talent. At least half the time, anyway.

I'm not really that upset. I just can't afford a Nano.

  • How long can it record

  • You can store around 1 hour per gig -- so maybe 8 or 16 hours. But the battery is probably more of a limit. Haven't heard how long it lasts when recording.

  • I can see where it would be nice to have for those moments when you don't have a "real" camera, i.e., car accident, something funny happening in the mall, blah blah blah. I have a tripod & a real videocam, but can't carry them everywhere!

  • it's not for me, I want to be able to use a small tripod with it and this seems like a very low budget feature

  • you said iphone nano

  • WOW almost 300 episodes!

  • Iphone nano FAIL! FAIL!

  • Great thorough, exhaustive review.

  • gary you just invited the best device ever, iphone nano :)

  • 0:28 iphone nano...looooool!!!!!!!!!!

  • Your right, he did say iphone nano.

  • 0:28 you said iPhone Nano lol.

  • It still has a pretty cool picture

  • Give it to the dog to play with, lol. I don't understand why they put video on this and not the iTouch? Oh well, good video.

I do have a flip and like it.

  • for me (iphone = no need to get one)
