Just water on the exhaust. I've been running that same engine for the last 4 years now, and haven't had to touch it. No plugs, no belts, just change the oil and run it hard.

Actually you are correct. I did NOT air down before this test. These tires don't "sag" until I get under 10 PSI, seems like 8 psi does OK without beadlocks. I now have beadlocks ready for install, I think 4 PSI then.
basically, all of you guys are right. More wheel spin would be good but not enough power to do that kinda mud in 4high. As mentioned, I hit pretty good wheel speed even in LO.
And yeah, they are cheap. $550 for that 4runner, before the lift and tires and lockers. I have about $5k in it now (with winch and new springs and new front driveshaft).
That why I drive a taco, and all the girls in my town drive Jeeps with stickers that say " silly boys jeeps are for girls". but i never see them muddy.
