Religion itself is an idea for helping the world, humans often misunderstand it and use it for there own egoistic goals. I'm not hindu, but I respekt and love the perspektives of them and other religions. I only see the bright, joyful side and don*t want to become rich, popular with my payers to wathever god I pray to. Ravan was a great King of Sinhalese(Lanka). He fought the vedic aryan who wanted to impose vedic religion on others.

It's from "Ramayana - the Legend of Prince Rama", which is an anime released back in 1992
You can search for "cartoni animati Ramayana" and should be able to find the english version of the story on youtube.
