I too favor functionality. However to not realize or enjoy Art is to miss Life. I do plenty of Smith'in and relish doing Art like eating fresh fruit after a 2 week camping trip. Let it drip all over me!

Nice, but I just don't care for work that is not functional. If you want to make a forge, get a hold of some coal, or make charcoal out of wood, don't just try and use wood.

oh my god i have wanted to blacksmith so long, i tried making a forge before but i like in suburbia and the neighbors just called the police, and i couldn't get it hot enough anyway (im 14 and only had a few pieces of wood haha)
