Was able to see this guy live at a Mint Condition concert back in '99. His Live groove / feel will leave you speechless. This dudes impact on gospel drummers is unrecgonized. Hall of Fame type musicality, jus saying! He doesn't seek stardom, just a laid back cat.

He's just changing the inside part of the beat in a very subtle way... if you're musically inclined I can describe it more. Instead of playing straight 4 beats, he's putting a shuffle thing in there, and it sounds sick. That's the way Dave thinks and he's crazy like that. He really makes it work. Some of the stuff that he does is very hard to explain.
