  • It's sad he had to retire. The NBA lost a great player

  • Guys, if Blazers drafted Durant over Oden, Durant wouldnt be as good as he is right now. The only reason he is the top scorer in the NBA is because he was on a bad team. He couldnt have done that under b-roy and aldrige.

  • Brandon Roy could cook.

  • If only Portland drafted Durrant instead of Greg Oden, we'd be talking about the best team in the Western Conference.

  • Brandon Roy was one of the best players in basketball

  • Comment removed

  • Brandon Roy was one of the best players in basketball, then he took an arrow to his knees.

  • What a waste of talent! Poor guy.......

  • he's still young and hasnt reach his prime! im confuse

  • why did he retire guys?

  • @1968joseleon his doctor told him that if he played another season his knees would be ruined for the rest of his life. they can't heal because he has no cartlidge. its sad he was a great player. face of the franchise.

  • So upset Roy is leaving the NBA just as he was about to hit his prime.

  • Thank you Brandon Roy! you will be missed..

  • One of the best scoring 2 guards. Scored with ease. Imagine how he would be if he would have had time to develop. Dang you will be missed B roy.

  • ohhh xit..roy retire's fuck u ESPN haha

  • Brandon Roy shouldn't retire. he can still be a valuable asset coming off the bench. look at t-mac. he suffered a lot of injuries, yet now he's still a solid role player. cmon roy, remember game 4 against dallas just months ago?? dont retire!!

  • @sportygu123 he has ZERO cartilage left in his knees after SIX operations. if he plays anymore, he risks losing his knees and everything below them. why the hell would you play with that kind of risk? t-mac's issue was totally different and less severe

  • @sportygu123

Apparently his injuries would mean he couldn't walk later in life.

  • Seriously sad he had to retire... One of my favorite player in the League

  • Im a heat fan, but I'm still somewhat saddened about the news of his retirement, he had so much potential...

  • The news deadass ruined my day.

I've been watching Roy videos since i saw the news on ESPN.

  • ;(

  • what a hell my fav player

  • Yeah Roy took arrows to BOTH knees

  • Damn B Roy you will be missed.

  • retired. smh.

  • I blame the blazzers man they let him play on bad knees(in the play offs)blazers should have took care of him better

  • @Patchez91 that doesnt matter his knees was already fucked up even if he didnt play in the playoffs

  • Damn Retired way to early....sucks the injury woulda been bankin n the top SG.

  • smh....gone to early!!!

  • those were the scrappiest plays ever, but he was definetly a great scorer

  • Please don't tell me he retired! I'm not trying to believe that!

  • Roy used to be unstoppable.. Then he took arrows to the knees.

  • reminds of tmac :/

  • Thank you for these but I know there are some better home boi

  • gotta pick up some laundry on the floor...lol..best commentator.

  • I hope G Oden will be fine this coming season

  • i never watched zbo on the blazers but im glad we have ltrain

  • Roy will be back next season those injuries will be healed

  • nice

  • booom chakalaka !!!

  • Roy sucks now

  • @poketgod84 hey an unhealthy roy is still better than some SG's career nights.

  • boom shaka laka lmao scuse me while i go play my old nba jam

  • ahh how good he once was... breaks my heart

  • check out my page--thanks

  • BOOM! CHAKALAKA.

  • 240p ?!!???!??!?!??!?!?!

  • B ROY!!!!!!

  • Everyone hes bak!!! 16 pts vs dallas!!!

  • Not a fan of him, but I have mad respect for him. Especially how humble he is. Shame he will never be the same =(

  • @DaNamesNick Seemed logical 2 days ago..

  • Sad story how this kid was soo good now can't even get off the bench for a playoff game.

  • @dnrmafia Lol well now look. He got off the bench and help the Blazers go from a 23 point deficit to win the game. He went clutch a few days ago.

  • Brandon Roy

    Greg Oden

    LaMarcus Aldridge

    Wesley Matthews

    Andrei Miller

    Gerald Wallace

    Nicolas Batum

    Marcus Camby

    Rudy Fernandez

If only the first two players on the list stayed healthy, imagine where Portland would be right now.

  • @sportygu123

    I know, next year though;

    Andrei Miller

    Brandon Roy

    Gerald Wallace

    LaMarcus Aldridge

Marcus Camby/Greg Oden (Providing he gets healthy)

Thats a crazy good starting five......

  • @sportygu123 and aussie mills

  • @sportygu123 lol andre miller is on the nuggets bro. and rudy is on the mavs

  • @sportygu123 Add Raymond Felton on the list.

  • I really hope Brandon Roy makes a full recovery for next season. He was so good before the injury and such a great person that you'd hate to see him fade into obscurity like a Tracy McGrady or a Gilbert Arenas.

With him playing at full speed, Lamarcus Aldridge, Gerald Wallace, and Nate McMillan as head coach Portland could really be something. I hope they can get it dialed in next season. Oh, and finding a young, solid center would be good too.

  • so sad that his injury kept him out this year... portland= no injury would have andre miller, gernald wallace, brandon roy, lamarcuc alridge, and greg oden. that would have been an all star lineup

  • damn look at the score on #5

  • boom chaka laka!! xDDD

  • Some of the headlines here. The Sonics, randolph still on the blazers, old times. I do miss the seattle portland rivalry a lot, but I don't miss randolph.

  • When he's healthy, Brandon breaks ankles.

  • @MoeFe Yeah that was an awesome shot

  • Roy has the best slow crossover in history.

  • your fogot to put the one he shot with 0.8 seconds to win it

  • random boy

  • really unfortunate he only has 1-2 years left according to his doctors. if he had surgery it would take him 2 years to come back.

  • roy=rookie of the year

  • this is amazing really really really AMAZING AMAZING GREAT AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

  • Western Conference Power Forward Efficieny rating. im listing in order the most efficient All-Star candidates. Love 28.9, Griffin 26.1, Gasol 26.1, Novvitzki 24.7, Aldridge 22.0, Millsap 21.4, Duncan 20.2, West 20.2, Jefferson 20.2.

I vote LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE because hes on a winning team in the WEST! and 3rd in the NBA in Dunks and Off Rebs. Also has 20 double doubles for 6th in leauge, L-TRAIN COME A BLAZIN!!!!

  • True Aldridge is doing his thing leading the team right now and Matthews stepping up when Roy come back if they keep the same intensity idk if I would say they the team to beat in the west cuz of the Lakers,Spurs, and Thunder are my top but they could be like #4 or 5

  • @Benjibol100 they r number five right now without him.......

  • Yeah he is an upcoming star just gotta get past the injuries please dont be another T-Mac cuz thats a story that I still cant beleive went from Superstar to journeyman though Tracy can still play if you bu,p him he outta there.

  • Came back too early last year

  • Yo i hope this kid can come back as BIG as Amare did, I know different surgeries and totally different players but still shows you can come back strong and all star quality off an injury

  • @ElliotJTurner not gonna happen which reaaaally hurts me to say....... he doesnt have any miniscus in his knees bone on bone...

  • did u see the score in number 5

  • It sucks to see someone this good have his career ended by an injury... Maybe he'll take up coaching. Someone just get McMillan out of ther

  • I hate it when im playing basketball and people mistake me for brandon roy

  • @TheBigBrother332

That's weak man. Unless it was someone covering the team, I wouldn't take hearsay like that to heart.

  • @TheBigBrother332

    you are a dumbass

  • Roy will always be a all star too Portland we may be upset because all Portland can do is get injuries but look at what Roy has done to Portland so therefore calling him a failure you are very wrong he was #3 2guards in the NBA next to Kobe and Wade hmmm seems pretty damn good too me I still have faith Roy will show everyone he is still the shit he has a high enough basketball IQ he'll make something work for him.

  • boom chaka laka ...lol

  • @TheBigBrother332

Is this post a joke? Were are those rumors coming from? You call him a failure yet you supported not too long ago. Wow...

  • So, whats going on with Brandon Roy? people all over the internet says that something is going on..

  • @tothebeaty0

    he is injured

  • @llove63 Brandon Roy's career is over.

  • Lol it was a sad situation for B-roy. i'm truely upset that the number 2 SG in the west was injured (nothing he could do about it, he just had NO cartillage.) and he'll probably go down the path of Grant Hill, instead of becoming better then Kobe in a matter of Years. :( Rebuild again, ripcity

  • the situation Roys in is just sad. he was portlands franchise player that wouldve got the blazers a championship.

  • Maybe underrated from a marketing stand point but from the very moment Roy came into the league there was talk that he played like a veteran... You hear it all the time how he is Portland's clutch guy, unselfish, great offensive player and tremendous IQ I would only say Roy is underrated because of his lack of Post-season success as well as his injuries

  • This guy dose'nt show any emotions at all...everytime i see him hes always got a straigt face....and it dosent change even if h scored 5 points or 50 points!!

  • roy has a similar injury as t-mac at his prime. hes gona loose his explosivnes after the surgery and will become an avarage nba player and will probably never be able to become as good as kobe or even better than him. evethough he was considered to become an allstar. i tho hope this wont happen and he will return as he once was :( get well roy!!!

  • BOOM SHAKA-LA-KA!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

  • Nice job, I love the effort. New release from Brandon Ja'rod is Blazing! DEC. 2010

  • Haven't you heard? Brandon Roy's career is pretty much over. He has irrepariable knee damage in BOTH of is knees. They say his days are numbered as an NBA player. Portland got stuck with some bad luck AGAIN with Roy and Oden.

  • @NBAGOATS i know your comment was from 2 weeks ago but what do u think of roy right now? i mean to me he hasnt changed much still posting up 20 points a game i dont think hes completly done just yet

  • @kikizzle88 I wish the best for Roy. But the truth is, he's a time bomb waiting to happen. He's like an HIV patient who's doing good. Nobody knows when it will happen. But when it does, its all down hill from there. All he can do at this point is to continue doing well until the bomb goes off. But both he and Portland knows that he's a time bomb waiting to go down. I'm willing to bet, if he makes it through the season, they'll push for a trade.

  • bad top 10

  • not the best selection but he showing off

  • I was talkin to my brother today an he thinks Roy's gonna bounce back but I have my doubts. I think the Blazers have just had the misfortune of building their franchise around talented but injury prone players and I don't think Roy will ever return to how he was 2 years ago. He'll probably turn into a Ginobili like 6th man if he's gonna be anything now. He just lacks that explosiveness and ability to get to the rim now that his knee is shot and he's only gonna get older.

  • fucking roy is fucking done knee problems fucked him up

  • B-roy love him but his carrer is going to be short lived he is having many knee issues and is very close to needing miro fracture surgery :(

  • That's legit

  • LOL at #5 the one who made the pass faked the teammate beside roy LOL

  • way to go Brandon i love you you my best player ever

  • notice on every play, 2 or 3 of their best defensive stoppers can't handle his crossover, especially #7 play

  • Go Huskies! Way to represent UW!!!

  • i think that number 2 is the best

  • i watched this like 50 times literally man i love broy7 no homo

  • @sawda5 are u sure?

  • Brandon roy has that smooth old school feel in his game. doesnt always do to many crossovers and extra stuff but will rather beat u with a nice side step or a quick cross and drive. Most underated scorer in my opinoin.

  • BOOMshakalaka! :)

  • He don't have tons of fans because he doesnt score tons of points each game. Know negativity on that comment just statin fact.

    I aint hatin nigguh -.-

  • Brandon roy the best in my book

  • @TheHydrokilla Yeah id take an injury free brandon roy over kobe, not lebron just cause hes phisically unstopable lol

  • @Justinemerson99 well i would take an injury free kobe over b-roy...

  • @Redsoxlakes24 Even kobe says roy has no weaknesses

  • @RedDragonAirsoft kobe is still better when he is healthy, but b-roy has so much potential and is going to be a great player when his career is done

  • @Redsoxlakes24 Well, Roy's career may or may not be done right now actually. But to me the only thing that seperates Roy from Kobe is Portland and LA. Hard to beat a team who can trade Kwame Brown and a draft pick and get Pau Gasol in return. Or sign Ron Artest at a reduced price and still be able to keep Lamar Odom. How can any team compete with that? The Lakers play by a seperate set of rules then the rest of the league. Star players take pay cuts to play for their team which is unfair.

  • @WrestlingBC12 then you should look at the heat dude, all three of them took paycuts to be together

  • @Redsoxlakes24 Yeah they suck too. I can't stand NBA superteams. Is unfair to small market teams.

  • @Redsoxlakes24 and all three of them are failing together

  • @RedDragonAirsoft Well he's wrong, Roy has plenty of weakness. Particularly on defense.

  • @WrestlingBC12 you know better than an nba player, apparently

  • @RedDragonAirsoft Well, considering I can actually watch his games and study him as a player rather than judge a player on the few accounts I've played against him each year, I'd say so. To me I don't think a player is an automatic expert on a sport and everybody who plays it just because he's had success himself. Kobe is just giving credit to a good player but to say that Roy has no weaknesses is a lie. Even Roy himself would admit that he has weakness.

  • Most underrated player in the league. If you wanna learn how to play the game.Watch this guy

  • @Zeke4TV how can he be underrated, he is in NBA only two years... he is excellent ofcourse, his time is yet to come, as Portland time aswell

  • @Zeke4TV so true he has a better fg and 3pt percentage than kobe

  • THIS GUY CANT BE 22!!

  • ima brandon roy fan right here so fuck all dha hater

  • these new players have skills and are certainly efficient but nobody is more beautiful to watch playing than MJ !!!

  • if you were watching this guy you would think he's been in the league for a long time, but no he's just getting started

  • Brandon roy is tight i whento school with him

  • @rddevin that's awesome man :)

  • Sick Killer cross over on play 6!

  • thumbs up if he is the mons

    underated player in the nba!!!

  • @chimmychanga19 i would totally give you a thumbs up if you could spell "most" correctly

  • roy with Randolph. So glad they traded Randolph. He just does not fit on the blazers.

  • he reminds me of d-will n dwade

  • You wont see this kid on some retarded one hour special, seeking attention. Just a hard worker with a team first mentality. That's our boy!!!

  • The number 7 is the best!!

  • I had an oppurtunity to meet Brandon Roy at there practice facility in Lake Oswego, Oregon and he is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met. I had a basketball and a sharpie and he signed it for me and offered to take a picture. He will always be my favorite athlete!

  • His top 10 needs to be updated. This was over three years ago.

  • brandon the NATURAL roy

  • he's so raw

  • why isn't his buzzer beater against Houstan in here?

  • @jaredleiferman maybe its because the vid was uploaded in '07.....

  • Fool....Spanish is a European language formed in Spain

  • boom shaka laka haha.. hes expression is funny...

  • Do you know why the Suns will lose? Game 5 and Game 7 are on TNT. As I recall, the Suns have lost 20 of their last 21 games on TNT, including the losses to the Blazers in Game 1 and Game 4.

  • He is so underrated

  • @ yooitsdayton kobe chucked up 37 @ the rose garden this season ina lose to Portland...

  • @TeRRoRx503 lol Terror503 don't even bother man...this guy put Brandon Roy and John Salmons in the same sentence. Ain't no arguing with a guy that dumb.

  • @WrestlingBC02 lmao why are you calling me all these names and getting mad...over YOUTUBE COMMENTS? lol anyways, how was i supposed to know that 54 was from the season before last? you said last season, which was the 2009-2010 season. don't blame me for your mistakes. also, 4 wins difference is showing how good the blazers were without roy..

  • @yooitsdayton I'm sorry but I find ignorance and stupid comments to be offensive. Whether it's youtube or in person. Um, maybe if you actually paid attention to the team and followed Roy's game you'd know last season's record was 54 wins? Idk. And showing they're good in compared to what? When they had more wins last season when he was healthy? Your failed logic is fuckin insane.

  • @WrestlingBC02 you're calling me out on my "stupidity"...and you're using "your" in place of "you're", and completely annihilated the word "referring". and comprehension has nothing to with it hun. you said "last season", and i thought you were talking last season. my bad? and brandon roy is better than john salmons, but not by much, i said he's on his level, not exactly the same. roy wouldn't average 27 if he got traded to the bucks though. probably more like 23, with salmons averaging 21.

  • @yooitsdayton You know what stupid people do when they lose in arguments instead of just admitting they were wrong and moving on? They start to argue trivial things like the misspellings of words and grammar. That's usually when I know the argument is over and I've won. When you can't even think of a damn thing to say in response...so all you do is talk about spelling. Nice....Fucking.......Moron.

  • @yooitsdayton So according to you if Brandon Roy went to a more free flowing offense and could learn to play that pace, which he could learn no problem...you say he would only average 1 point more then what he already averages as the #1 option in the slowest paced most half court oreintated offense in the league? I don't normally say this word cuz i think it's overused and cliched but you are just a flat out.....Hater. Yes, I said it.

  • @WrestlingBC02 lol alright, and umm, last seasons record was 50 wins. last season means 2009-2010 since that season is over. your comment was the ignorant one. and they had more wins 2008-2009 than 2009-2010, which was when brandon roy was injured correct? and i would like to know how i'm "losing" this argument. kevin durant is way better than brandon roy. and you're the one being offensive lol, i'm just trying to help you see this truth, but you're the one being ignorant with these.."insults".

  • @yooitsdayton youre a dumbass dude, obviously I was refereing to the 08-09 season and refering to this season and 09-10. Anybody with a comprehension level above grade school could figure it out. So I'm under the impression you're one of those douchebags that think just by saying something without facts that we're suppose to believe it to be true? So...your prove that Kevin Durant is better is youre just going to say that he's better...again. Nice. Freakin...moron.

  • @yooitsdayton youre a dumbass dude, obviously I was refereing to the 08-09 season as last and refering to this season as the 09-10. Anybody with a comprehension level above grade school could figure it out. So I'm under the impression you're one of those douchebags that think by u just saying something without facts that we're suppose to believe it to be true? So...your proof that Kevin Durant is better is youre just going to say that he's better...again. Nice. Freakin...moron.

  • @WrestlingBC02 lmao alright it's just an argument on youtube, i couldn't care less who won it. but please, don't use that as an excuse to not knowing how to spell referring. and sure, call me a hater whatever, it's just an opinion bro. well, i'm done here. hope you feel good about yourself accomplishing nothing, since my opinion hasn't changed, which was what you were trying to achieve. oh, and it's so ironic how you couldn't spell a few simple words, but i'm the "fucking moron" lmao.

  • @TeRRoRx503 ahh my bad , when i looked up "kobe bryant career field goal attempts" it was apparently a biography and it showed a game @ golden state where he set a career high with attempts at the time . but either way kobe doesn't throw up 37 attempts a game ;p .

  • It's really lame to me how a guy can have as much talent as Roy and gets no respect from anybody outside of the states of Oregon and Washington just because he's not a loud mouth flashy ballhog that can dunk from the free throw line. Roy is every bit the player Kevin Durant is and the Blazers are more successful despite all the injuries and yet which guy gets more respect from the mainstream crowd. It pisses me off.

  • @WrestlingBC02 kevin durant is better than brandon roy. no question. brandon roy is more on maybe stephen jackson's or john salmons' level. they all averaged about the same stats this season. but please, kevin durant is on his way to becoming one of the best scorers in nba history already in only his third season, brandon roy is nowhere near him.
