I actually really like the word alive; but honestly those arpegio sweeps were really sloppy at full speed. only the first group rang clear and properly. The remaining figures were out of sync. You can hear the pick hit dead notes making it not sound smooth and fluid. I'm definatley not being a hater or saying I could do a better job, I am just pointing out what I see as a friendly guitar player. So If anyone is going to give me sh** at least know what you're talking about relating to guitar
@PassTheFlask07 yeah but dude this was probably just a one take vid, even TDWP admits they make at least one mistake every song they play live, im not being a dick or anything, just saying he could probably pull off a clean sweep line up, which is still sweeping.. sweeping is.. ehh. i just dont like it, my opinion though.
@theecko13 tony uses an engl powerball or fireball im not to familiar with engls so im not sure which but i know its one or the other and zach uses a peavey 6505+. theres a 6505 and then theres the + model and the + model just has an extra preamp tube added in. the 6505+ is around 1200 bucks and the engl depending on which is either 2100 to 3000 or more
I'm so glad he uses theory to teach arpeggios....

@theecko13 Go for a 6505 or 5150. The 6505+ is good, but doesn't have the same heaviness,
nicer cleans though.
Engls are amazing, but expensive. Also, Bugera has come out with the 6262, which is
similar to the 6505, sounds amazing, the tubes last up to 20 times longer, and it's cheaper.
They're hand wired too.
