I try not to gossip as I know how much it can hurt and backfire on you. I learned my lesson a couple years ago when I gossiped between two girls and they got mad at me. So I try to avoid these kinds of situations. Also, I am usually social phobic anyways.

Obviously from an islamic perspective we believe that muslims (which means submission with peace and sincerity to the One and Only God who has no partner) Are more likely to enter paradise but only God can judge. the video is about talking ill and nasty things behind someones back. If the Islamic position is that one goes to heaven if they are in submission with peace and sincerity, and what if a person is submitted with peace and sincerity to the one true God, yet does not follow the teachings of Muhamed (PBUH) but those of Jesus (PBUH) can one still enter into heaven?

Basically God is the best of judges and is most merciful people who never reached the true meaning and essence of islam to indeed reject it will have a separate test on the day of Judgement, But if someone believes in islam and Muhammed PBUH to be true and then reject its message then indeed they are upon disbelief . If I understand your post, are you saying that I could continue as a believer of Jesus(PBUH), live a good life with good intentions and not necessarily follow the tenents of Islam, and then die, and come before God after my death and qualify for a 'second test', am I reading correctly? If one follows Jesus (PBUH) than one will find their way to Muhammad (PBUH) who came after Jesus and is in fact mentioned in the bible by Jesus himself when he says that the "comforter" will come after him. People claim it is the holy spirit which in reality according to the bible was around before Jesus's birth.

As far as back biting goes. Did you realy need a book written thousands of years ago to tell you that gossiping and bitching behind a persons back is not a very nice thing to do?

Another point wich should be noted, is that a mature inteligent person should never be impressed or infuluenced by the backbiting of another person. Gosip wouldn't work or be able to do any harm, if so many people wern't gullible. Nor would RELIGION.

You don't have to be a prophet, to work that out for youself.

I think you missed my point about the religious pretext, & it has everything to do with not needing to be a phrophet to work it out. That was intended to point out, that you don't need special divine inspiration to undersand what is wrong with backbiting. It may be easy to do, but it is also easy to see why it is wrong. You don't have to be religious. Do you not see the religious pre-text in this video and in many of these comments? Is it wrong because allah said so, or because it is just wrong?

My view on death, is that it very hazardous to the health. Avoid it wherever possible. It's also a tool of coercion for religions, by making claims that another life lay beyond death, one that is either filled with bliss and happiness or horrible torture, depending usualy upon the victims belief in religion and doctrine. If I were going to create a belief system to ensare weak minds, that is the kind of claims it would make. If there is a creator god, it made the universe look like there isn't.

Yeah, that's what I always think when I see a women wrapped like a coocoon from head to toe in an effort to swamp any vestaige of her femininity.
