  • faaakq America faaakq Obama OK

  • Spending will be cut by 4 Trillion. And you are a hack Cenk. MSNBC made the right choice.

  • No progressive moves by Obama. He knows when he needs votes from the Normal base not the radical progressive bastards. They need to get out of the administration.

  • @Bruce1949919 Except most of the country is progressive if you look at the issues they care about instead of a feeling of patriotism, which they confuse with being conservative. People have simply been brainwashed by conservative media that the entire mainstream media is liberal while it is actually pretty conservative already. Nobody protects the banks like CNN, no matter how much they fuck the economy. Bank of America a wonderful bank? Hilarious. They all corrupt the free market.

  • @Bruce1949919 Obama has increased spending and the deficit would reach 22 Trillion if it was approved. He is an idiot just like Cenk.

  • Who cares Cenk. Bank of America is a wonderful Bank. And he shoulld use it. No One cares what the Liberal bastards think.

  • @Bruce1949919 Its a horrible Bank...

  • @Vrael473 They don't like small depositors like you.

  • @Bruce1949919 And thats reassuring to you somehow? A good bank shouldn't cater to just large "depositors" Good policies, and functional business models lead to success. As it is Bankruptcy sort of indicates a lack in all these basic business principles.

  • @Vrael473 NO. This was a slam on you for making a blanket statement about B of A. You are as bad as the Y T's.

    s

  • @Bruce1949919 Like i was saying, the evidences indicate that B of A is not a sound or healthy Bank. Its as simple as that.

  • @Vrael473 No news on that front. YOu must be listening to CNBC. They suck too.

  • Obama will get defeated by ABO in 2012

  • @763873 whats ABO?

  • @DeadHappyFilm Any Body On the Ticket.

  • all these people talking about ron paul i believe we don't even need a president.

  • @Dhoomra well in a nutshell the federal reserve is bad because it provides bankers with nearly free money especially during a recession, has been used as the primary tool to destroy the currency through devaluation, destroys savings, encourages overspending by consumers, and is the source of many of the problematic bubbles and busts. this is all through normal federal reserve workings. now, however, the fed is pulling cute new techniques which are basically destroying our economy: ie QE

  • Hold the fucking phone. How are budget cuts draconian?

  • Anyway we should all support raising taxes and cutting spending.

The levels of debt we are accumulating are simply unsustainable.

  • @TOTCD Agreed but who should we tax? The corporate tax is already like 35% and is partly why no corporations want to hire new employees. That's just one example.

  • @CHTWillCome723 Well those who are making over a million a year aren't creating much jobs now are they? We should raise the capital gains tax.

Make them pay 35% aswell. Close all loopholes so that companies like GE actually pay taxes right now they aren't paying any taxes. Just by doing that we could pay off our deficit in 5 years.

  • @TOTCD I agree that ALL large companies/corporations should pay taxes, but you have to understand that companies don't want to hire anyone when they are taxed that much. Say they make 1,000,000 dollars... They are taxed 350,000 of that already. Plus all of the scumbags who want more benefits and higher salaries for simple jobs. These companies have to pay for all that.

  • @CHTWillCome723 No the consumer has to pay for all that

  • @MrBigdaddydigsdp Pays for what? Consumers are what make companies rich. They don't pay for big business taxes...

  • @TOTCD Taxes will not be raised while Obama is in office.

  • Death to bank of america!

  • Safe

  • Really cent you think this financial tax wouldn't hurt 401ks hahahaha oh yeah you still think social security is sake

  • @MATT15632 Social Security has a 2.5 Trillion surplus. It's one of the greatest things that happened to this country.

  • @MATT15632 His name is CENK.

  • Is Obama trying to lose the election? Really? Did anyone at the DNC give this any consideration?

  • @IPOMonsturd ... by the way they are still getting screwed.

  • @IPOMonsturd those incidence pale to the number and volume of people that were entirely screwed and foreclosed upon ... building 200k + homes in an area where the avg annual pay was 35k ... developers over-developed without regard to market and demographics all at the bequest nearly of the Banks ... that lobbied for and received the deregulation that nurtured greed ... by and large the normal consumer wasn't someone out to flip a house, it was someone looking for a home and they got screwed

  • Well this makes Obama totally out of touch with most Americans ... maybe he is speculating that he will be opposing Mr. 1 percent and he will be trying to show that he is not the "enemy" of "free enterprise" the "Republicans" are even now in the process of trying to do. Trying to make him seem economically divisive. What Obama doesn't realize ... is that he is latently accepting responsibility for the division actually imposed by an attack on the middle class by the GOP. He should be smarter

  • @vjohn, You're confused. Cenk is pro-consumer, the banks are just thieves. It is simplistic to say that if banks suffer the whole economy suffers. Thievery does not help the economy (especially when it is legitimized and on an institutional level). The economy does not end or begin with the "banking industry" it ends and begins with each individuals prosperity. Banks have been forcing consumers into a debt with no potential for savings, with no account for banks criminality.

  • @inthemagic Speaking of thievery, how about all those people who took out no-doc "liar loans" so the could "flip that house" and be the next "Donald Trump". Were some banks dishonest? Sure. But don't give me that "poor innocent consumer" bullshit. There was plenty of greed to go around.

  • @IP0Monsturd How about the banks that actively fucked their customers with mortgage fraud? Derivative bullshit? Bribing ratings agencies?

They're begging the attorney generals to settle for a fraction of a penny on the hundred dollars

The banks are the only ones responsible for the world economic collapse, anyone who tries to blame the CUSTOMERS (fuck you with your dehumanizing "consumer" capitalist bullshit!) is an asshole.

  • @dffykvn I'm talking about the dimwits who know more about their cell phone plan than they know about their mortgage. My favorite was a woman on the evening news a few years ago who lost her home. Her excuse? She didn't understand that her "teaser rate" on her expensive home only lasted a short time and that 200 dollar a month payment on her 500k house was only temporary. Maybe the banks should just give homes to the stupid. I like my mortgage company. I've had them for years. Bank of America.

  • I bet Bank Of America will fucking LOVE Obama's budget.

  • I don't know why Cenk is so anti bank. If banks suffer, the whole economy suffers.

  • @vjohn16

Have you... listened to Cenk talk about why he is so anti-bank? That would answer your question....

  • @vjohn16 Not in the same way as any of the industries would Banks produce nothing if money comes out of banks it is normally then put into industries the problem we currently have is the banks have a lot of money they are not investing therefore it is worthless it needs to be taken out of the banks and put into infrastructure, production or development of IP

  • @vjohn The banks make fortunes by fucking their customers

They've rigged the game so that if their customers make money they make money and if their customers lose money they make money and if their business is losing money they make money.

Bankers should be perp walked into a public square and shot for the crimes they've pulled

Everyone that was a victim of mortgage fraud and committed suicide should be considered a victim and the bankers should be sentenced for murder (and treason)

  • @dffykvn

I am against some of banks' practices. The people responsible for the mortgage fraud are the bankers for one, the Democrats for making the banks give loans they would not get back, and the people who took the loans they knew they would not be able to repay.

In a separate TYT clip, they show Sean Hannity pointing out the problem of poor people taking these loans for houses, and Cenk called it "blaming the poor". So there is inconsistancy with this network also.

  • 'YES WE CAN'T' That should be his slogan now-instead of making jobs-he is destroying jobs-where did this guy come from???? All the banks are getting bailouts-and charging people 18.99% to 26.99% pure profit-why can't these banks balance their budgets? Give me a loan of 0.0% and I will start a business on how to save American citizens money on all their essential needs and cutout the cut throats-imploding from inside out-where is our country heading-not in the best interest of us citizens and USA

  • Obama every single time I try to accept you, it always winds up screwing me over in the end. Stop working for the banks and the Republicans. Your not helping Liberals or moderates like me. This is not the time to be republican. This is the time to be liberal. I've barely ever wanted to vote for you sense I've come to know the clowns called the Republican canidates. I need a reason to vote here and your not helping your case by being a bank lobbyist.

  • Break up all monopolies. Vote Bernie Sanders. Have none of the above on every ballot. No black box diebold voting booths.

  • vote stephen colbert?

  • SPUSA FTW.

  • BANK OF AMERICA

    *shuffles letters around*

    MAIN FOE BARACK

  • You feared he would do his speech at the bank of america stadium. I am beginning to look that the Young Turks as being petty squealers. Cenk finds everything to criticize chocolate Jesus on. Cenk, take a break from politics for a while.

  • wolf-pac.com NUFF SAID. Money out of politics. So simple step, yet like a mountain to climb over with toothbrushes as pickaxes!

  • LOL the right calls him a socialist and the left calls him a conservative. cant win.

  • @Chesedrosen Compared to real socialism (or rather socialist liberalism) like in Western Europe, he is a right wing radical. Compared to bat shit crazy republicans wanting to go back to the middle ages he is quite progressive. One would just wish he realized which side's mockery is irrelevant in an intellectual arena. :)

  • @Chesedrosen Actually standing for ANYTHING would go a long way to dispel complaints about Obama from either left or right.

  • @johnedwards1968 But being "neutral" is also kinda part of being a good leader. He is the president of The United States, liberal AND conservative.

  • @Chesedrosen Nothing liberal about him.

  • Cenk I love you but it's time to start checking out bank results for year ended 2011. You'll be pleasantly surprised not only by the lackluster profits (declines as much as 70% at Goldman Sachs), but also by the massive layoffs, reduced salaries, and declining bonus pay. Banks are waking up and beginning to act responsibly. Stricter capital requirements in addition to the inability to pledge deposits as collateral against derivative contracts are grounding banks faster than TYT is noticing.

  • @jasonseanbell Are ANY bonuses being paid?

If so who gives a fuck?

They're still criminals that should be perp walked and shot for everything from fraud, racketeering, murder and treason

  • Steven Colbert 2012?

  • When the government loots and spends the money inefficiently, it is proper to cut spending. It is great to want to spend and try to create jobs, but we need to balance the budget. More spending from these dipshits is not the solution.

  • @goldstockbull Taxing people making millions a year a higher percentage than their secretaries will also balance the budget :)

  • @tanekki I agree the tax code is horribly unfair and needs to be changed. I just don't think bigger government and handing more money to politicians will help our situation. So, fine to tax millionaires more, but let's also reduce the size of government, reduce spending (wars and bank bailouts) and start having better oversight of how the money gets spent (no-bid projects and kickback). Simply taxing the rich and giving the government more money alone is not going to help much.

  • @goldstockbull Obviously the US "defense" budget is at least double what it need be, for example. However, you would benefit greatly from more spending on education and infrastructure from what I can tell. I would suggest raising taxes for the very high income people, removing most of the different subsidies, slimming down the military by a lot, increasing spending on education, healthcare and infrastructure. In the end that should net quite a surplus.

  • @tanekki We mostly agree. The only part of your plan that I question is increasing gov spending on education, healthcare and infrastructure. Not because those aren't good places to invest, but because the government is sure to spend the money wastefully and inefficiently. I would be all for that spending if we could first get corruption/lobbying out of government and make sure they are working for our interest. Otherwise, no-bid contracts, kickbacks, lost funds, etc. Thoughts?

  • Anyone hating on Ron Paul must understand he is the best out of the available choices. By no means is he perfect but considering romney n obama he is the only choice. Imo

  • @iddicted fail logic

  • @Silentboxgames are you still in kindergarten? have you ever take a multiple choice test. what is the "best" answer? i guess that logic is incomprehensible

  • @iddicted listen we have several supreme court justices who are ready to retire. and I wouldn't give one more supreme court appointment to those insane republicans. that is the only reason to vote for obama, but its a good one.

plus ron paul is a racist and a homophobe. and I will never back a man like that

  • @theymightbe1984 im not white and a registered democrat but after seeing how much of a failure obama was myself with my whole family are embarrassed to support him. he is 76 years old born in the 30's its not unexpected to have those tendencies at that age but i can care less about his perceptions/views as long as the country EXCELS.

  • @iddicted The problem with Ron Paul, is that he is just the new flavor of Obama. He won't actually have the power to do ANY of the things he says.

4 years after the start of a Ron Paul presidency, people will be saying 'How's that change working for you?". It's extremely disheartening, but a fact of American politics.

  • Tavis Smiley & Professor Cornel West is right: Obama sold out...my gosh...Black people...WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!

  • The best way to stop speculation is to increase interest rates. Blame the Fed for all the cheap money.

  • I think he is listening to the "American People" as Boehner says

  • Obama, you fucking sleeper cell asshat.

  • I mean, no matter why he chose the venue, he's got to know how people are going to react to this.

  • PRESS THE RESET BUTTON!

  • I live in NC.. I wonder if I can protest this! of course, I can but I might be beaten up

  • Elect Ron Paul, it'll be entertaining.

  • Wonderful video,it's inspiring to hear Cenk so full of furious indignation.

  • Comment removed

  • Somebody -anybody who is even even slightly viable and progressive, run for president, PLEASE. And I will write in for you. I'll even quit my job and campaign for you.

  • sometimes the tyt conspiracy theory goes beyond

  • That's a laugh, you were a disappointment all along Obama.

  • This is one of the many reasons I hope Obama gets cancer and dies, horribly, during his second term.

  • Election 2012: Dumb and Dumber.

  • well...

who else are you going to vote?

a fundamentalist GOP that will screw you even more?

or some monkey that caves in a lot , but at least hold onto SOME of his promises

  • @y512516 fuck Obama and fuck Romney.. VERMIN SUPREME 2012

  • Im black and that is not Racist NObama is a fucking monkey and a Lier!!

  • The Left to Obama: You'll Hate The Election Results

  • @A86 Not if it is a run of the mill Republican he wont.

  • Is he not merciful?

  • Obama is just another corporate shill

  • Cenk for president!

  • Ron Paul 2012 whoooo

  • @jobzombi im sorry i remember writing that 4 years ago and disappointed ron paul is another lier, another pawn another politician. open ur eyes and stop being so naive.

  • @jobzombi lol just keep tellin yourself that ....

  • @jobzombi ....No

  • @jobzombi Go Green party!

  • Fukobama

  • ...K, this Obama kid has gotta go.

  • ...but 20 year old newsletters about fleet footed blacks are worse..how do you like your kool-aid?

  • It's official, he works for the banks. He is not for the people. Everyone vote for Ron Paul if he somehow gets the bid.

  • @Jeffersonwazright ron paul would just deregulate more and let the banks do whatever they want.

  • @Dhoomra You are ignorant about what you speak. Ron Paul wants to get rid of the FED and, if he had his way, go back to the gold standard. In that situation the banks no longer even exist. Read up on Ron Paul before you talk about him. Banks are dead under Ron Paul.

  • @Jeffersonwazright And by default that means that the economy is dead under Ron Paul.

  • @zebbedi For a time. But its pretty much dead anyways. Capitalism died a few years ago. We are just now heading down the cliff, not yet at the bottom. If you think that banks are the economy you need to take an economics class- maybe brush up on natural resources.

  • @Jeffersonwazright Well GDP has grown over the last few years, as has total market capitalisation. Not sure what your definition of dead is but it seems wildly misguided.

I'm a chartered accountant, I have an MSc in Economics and I used to work for a bank. So unfortunately your erroneous beliefs won't pass with me.

  • @zebbedi Search Youtube for CAUTION: Monetary System Collapse.

  • @zebbedi Erroneous!!! LOL. I have not said enough yet to be erroneous. Unless you think everything is just dandy with our economy and anyone saying otherwise is erroneous. :O But in that case you are just engaged in dogma.

  • @Jeffersonwazright I trust the books and the professors that educated me. I do not put much faith in Youtube conspiracy videos.

The Economy is not 'dandy', far from it. But this is not the first and certainly not the worst recession we have had in the West.

You need to grow up and read some books, learn about the economic system and it's intricacies and stop wasting your time spewing non-sensical comments over the intermnet. Just a suggestion.

  • @Jeffersonwazright what is wrong with the federal reserve? it was created to keep banks from suddenly losing all the money that was stored there, and to standardize currency. How does gold eliminate banks? also gold itself goes through fluctuations in value. why is gold so much better? just because its rare material? it just like paper money--just a symbol of value. gold alone has no used except looking pretty.

  • Hey, Ron Paul supporters. Think back 4 years in 2008. Holy shit, what a deja vu. no?

  • @05candyman ron paul has a record of 30 years

obama did fuck all in the senate in 2 years, he gave a speech in 2004 and played on the anti clinton setiment in the democratic party which was common in the democratic establishment

  • Or pass a financial transaction tax before any kind of international agreement has been reached and watch your banking sector pick up and leave for London and Honk Kong etc along with all the jobs.

  • REVOLUTION! I AM SPARTACUS!

  • Wow, take it easy people. Yes punishing the banks RIGHT NOW with reactive taxes, penalties and regulation might be politically prudent but it would also be stupid. How many people does Bank of America employ? People who could be suddenly made redundant due to "severe market and regulatory headwinds". See Lloyds bank in the UK for example. It should wait and be done properly until after the world economy is back in rude health.

  • @crayyawn At the time it was better than Fossil McCain and No brain Palin. And this time there isn't really a good choice.

  • Ron Paul is a flawed candidate but he is the only chance you have for a president that will make a real change for the better. Please vote him in for your sake , its mad what a man in power can do when he doesn't have puppet string coming out of his back.

  • @sheepOG "Ayn Rand never advocated stealing property, nor does any other individualist. Subsidies, bailouts, handouts, call it what you want - it's all stolen wealth."

This is completely opposite of how every 1st world country works. The 3rd world countries that live the closest to a libertarian philosophy are quickly taken over by anybody with enough firepower and balls to take on what little government there is.

  • @blasphimus Being I can't comment I'm replying to the newest comment.

Bernie Sanders is the ONLY real liberal in congress, and he's an Independent.

  • @blasphimus All your points are irrelevant. No individualist or libertarian ever advocated stealing property, which is what subsidies and bailouts and handouts comes down to. So what you said in the post I responded to is false.

  • @blasphimus Apparently it wasn't even you who made that comment. So what that other person said is false. ;-)

  • can all my follow progressive look at Rocky Anderson

  • @ymkamara420

He has no chance of winning.

  • @Mectrixctic if there is a will there is a way

  • @ymkamara420

Then you better get started if you want hope by 2016

  • @ymkamara420 I loved the Rocky vs Hannity debate in Utah , I believed I watched it on here about 4-5 years ago.

  • @TheUSMetalhead i know right! he is a REAL progressive

  • @sheepOG It's not a half truth it's the whole truth. Paul doesn't write the laws he just passes them. You think congress would cut the IRS? That's laughable. They would cut bankers taxes first and Paul would pass it.

  • @blasphimus I never said what I think will happen. All I said was that you're misrepresenting his position.

You think too much in groups, that's all I have to add.

  • @sheepOG Groups are the reason the US is a 1st world nation. When people work in unison they can create so much in terms of technology and jobs. Paul thinks we should not work together in the form of government and that we would do much better if our groups weren't as strong. I can't agree with that.

A unified China will quickly show the US what it means to work together to achieve greatness.

  • @blasphimus I'm talking about generalisations. You're talking about society (although you confuse it with the state). No libertarian is against living in society, despite the popular statist belief that they are.

  • @blasphimus

China's income inequality is worse than the USA, and they are becoming rich through sweat shops and child labor.

  • There's no hope, is there?

  • @05candyman Revolution. Other than that, no, there´s no hope. Or if there is I´d like to hear it. But there isnt, it´s so obvious by now.

  • @05candyman

of course there is, man. get your head on straight!

    VOTE RON PAUL

  • @05candyman was there ever?

  • @05candyman The only hope we have is what the people decide to do. There's no other way to change anything anymore. But I'm not worried, in the end the people will revolt.

  • @05candyman Nope. The joke of "I dont wanna live on this planet anymore" doesnt seem funny anymore.

  • @05candyman Nor change.

  • Whats your point Cenk?

  • Anyone reminded of this?

    /watch?v=rsL6mKxtOlQ

  • Giving Obama back the presidency is like letting a monkey guard your bananas.

    Tasty tasty bananas.

  • @MetaMetaphysician Obama looks like a monkey.

  • @MetaMetaphysician dude thats racist. Obama = monkey?

  • @MetaMetaphysician

You may want to choose a less racist simile next time.

  • @MetaMetaphysician so you're planning to give you're bananas to Romney!? we're fucked

  • @scratchfg212 No, he is planning to vote third party or not vote at all, thus mathematically and logically giving his vote the the more evil, seeing as if he had voted between the only two real choices that could win, he would chose the less evil. Sine he isn't doing that, he is helping the more evil.

Silly third party voters, helping out the worse of the worst because they don't realize that our system is a locked 2 party system. We don't like it, but it's that way it is, our system sucks.

  • I'd still rather have Obama than the lot of these out-of-touch politillionaires, religious fascists, and fruitbats that make up the Republicans / Conservatives.

What's goign on now is sad. But who cares about BofA when we have credit unions. :P

  • Rocky Anderson 2012!

  • Obama will not win 2012

  • Ron Paul 2012

    Rocky Anderson 2016
