Yip - Well if you leave NZ your salary will Quadruple (in Asia anyway, for the right skill set) - I agree everyone "wants it now". The only totally nessesary debt is the mortgages which should be nailed ASAP. I'll drive around in a 15 year old car, no worries there. I just think the NZ governement are taking the piss - no wonder everyone is leaving.
depends on what you earn doesnt it? I get taxed 15% compared to the 60% I would if i still lived in NZ. Theres lots of cups of coffee difference between those 2 tax rates isnt there? And no GST!

its not a 60,000k cup of coffee. Over 20 years its 1000 cups of coffee (that will cost a 50 bucks a cup in 20 years) Id rather have my coffee! ;o)
