all 3 of u...whip whip whip! i always say that cuz its very important that u whip you're fouettes around to have better posture, and you're leg comes more parrelel to the ground the faster you go,and its less of a stain on you're muscles. When i do slow fouettes they are simply for muscle controls..like streching amost.
( i don't want to offend you if i say some stuff) i think you are really good but for your age you should make them higher and a little bit faster. good luck!!! i loved it!
yes we do note that this this video was done ages ago if u think i suck explain y i got distinction in my advanced 1 ballet exam yes a major!!!!!!!!!!!! we r now doin them on pointe keep ur nasty comments 2 urself
your turn out and pointed feet are gorgeous! but if you ever want to be able to fauette on pointe, you have to have to have to...plie! you're not plieing and that's very bad for your knees and it builds up your momentum. good luck though! I plie in my pointe fauettes but my problem is taking a double plie :( woops! working on it tho! keep up the great work! :D
hey Titanicdreams7, you guys look strong enough to do them. Even if you guys have gotten stronger and I do believe you to help you more, try spotting a little lower next time, I see that your spot changes and is very high up, also if you held your knee in highter and pulled up when you plie, easier to turn. Congradulations. And when ronde jambing your leg in to a la seconde and then pulling in into passe' make sure to concentrate on your inner thigh muscles to turn in out.
To annaballerina93, shout the hell up and stop critizing them, obviously you dont know how to be a good dancer and give coreectional critizism, instead of "you look like crap...pointe you freet." Try having a better dancers attitude and say stuff like,
I'm incredibly jealous of you girls... I've danced with Jem in the past, shes lovely.. and an incredibly talented dancer... I wanted to audition for LSB a few years ago but couldnt do saturdays.... Your all lovely dancers, and im sure you have improved since this vidio... and who really cares how perfect your technique is, your 17 if you want to go proffesional you've got years ahead of you, if not its just brilliant fun and a great discipline :)
I remember when i first started learning fouettes. ya'll are off to a great start. Be aware of the alignment of the hip. sometimes when we try to pull our leg up we lift the hip. Keep the hips down and aligned with the floor, use the good 'ol psoas to lift the leg. great job ladies keep up the hard work :D
Make sure you get to the seconde before pulling into the raccorci, and turn out both legs. Both of these things will help you get the force you need to get around, also spot faster. I know my spot is en retard and really disturbs my double tour en l'air.
few that lil 10 year old geeze she gets out the wrong side of bed, i know little kids just like that n e ways i blocked her n removed her lol were gettin so much betta this was done like in october tym n now ere doin em on pointe my record is 18 on pointe wooh so i can honestly say im not that bad lil 10 year old run along now!!!
Look balletrocksmysocks22, your not gonna make it with that attitude either ok? Us older girls do not like you little dancers because they are snotty and full of themself like you. Just be nice and try to help the other girls who are struggling, not critizize them. Set an example, and use your "abilities" to your advantage. So next time you mouth off like that remember your not doing yourself any good, so just keep your mouth shut.
to tiny dancer jenn i disagree u dnt have to start before you are ten to dance professionally..if u girls jus keep workin hard u will get where u wanna be good job@
I suggest you do some developpes in water and use an exercise bike to build up some strength in your quad muscles also i think you should work on your range of flexibility.
erm its local at the moment but im moving to a vocational school in september, where i am in the video is london studio centre but my local school is in bedford im going to kate simmons in september
not really :) as long as you have strength left in your body hehe. Theres a lady in one of the classes I demonstrate who is in her 60's that just started ballet. :) however, if you hope to be professional someday.... most dancers would have started before age 10 at least. :)
can i just give you a word of advice? :) i'm sure you already know this, but try to turn your head faster, and keep your hands lower and steady.. nice work though :)
then you should start it! the end of the year is coming, so maybe you can take a summer class, and you can start next year. I'm a ballet dancer and i love it!!
for BryndisSnae this is London Studio Centre in London... obviously lol erm i go there every saturday for a pilates, ballet, contemporary and pointe class, i'll b leavin ther soon tho :-(
Cool attempts. You know, a fouette doesn't need much force. So, think of them as going from position to position, and that the turn is from the spotting movement of your head. And wherever anything uses a plie, then plie for your life!
sorry but yall are bad!

Try locking your knees, bringing your posse (sp?) higher and hitting second (alaseconde, I have no idea how to spell it), also try spotting harder.
