It's sad she had to die. I will miss her. But I do want to say that I loved the part where she grabbed the hose from the keeper, then tried to climp over the rope. <3

How sad...thank you for sharing this. These magnificent creatures have such unfortunate
maladies in captivity...wish there was something
they can do to prevent the elephants from contracting the herpesvirus. Wish there was some sort of vaccine. Hope they are not catching it from their human keepers.
