  • one of my fans and poor Meade! his face told of all his a-go-ny!

  • thanks for posting this.

  • The film seemed like it lacked a lot to me. It seemed empty. Didn't care for Their Eyes Were Watching God either, but that seemed to lack in a different way.

  • I enjoyed this movie, I also learned a few things.

Thanks for uploading this (lunargoddess2002) :)

  • Nice ending. Thanks lunargoddess2002 for uploading this.

  • i have been looking for this movie for the longest but just could not remember the name of it . This is my first time seeing it from being to end. loved it.

  • THANK YOU so VERY MUCH for downloading this movie!!!

I remember watching it when it first was on TV, I don't know if it was ever shown since then, but it was really nice bumping into it here on YouTube. I watched the entire movie here this evening, you did a super job piecing it together here for us to enjoy. If you know of anywhere it is sold, could you please tell me how to get my own copy? I've looked at Ebay and Amazon without success. Again, many thanks for putting it up on here for us!

  • thank god the damn thing is over 24 parts is too fuckin long for a movie the end good night

  • It's a beautiful movie. Thank you so much for uploading. I really, really like this movie and I appreciate it even if i'm just fifteen. :) It's just, really, wonderful.

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaw

  • what a WONDERFUL movie!!!! i was able to watch all 24 parts!!! thank-you so much for posting this:)

  • I thought it wasn't legal to marry interracially in the 50's?

  • @musepigg There no anti-miscegenation laws passed in Massachusetts and several other states, so their marriage was not in question in the 50s.

  • Crazy old ladies with their crazy flower hats

  • Yay! Love shall prevail. Ps: Halle is sooooooo beautiful 4:27

  • I liked that film. Only I think the black guy wasn't bad and that's how they tried to leave us thinking.

  • @hihosilverlining2 hmm.. I don't think they intended us to feel that he was bad but rather confused and allowed the world to dictate to him what choices he should make... and for failing to be true to himself, he became angry. which is what usually happens

  • Thank you for sharing this movie

  • Thanks for posting that! I think they deleted some parts when they air it on Lifetime. I saw some scenes I swear I hadn't seen before.

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • dony we all marry for love..but how strong will it be ..

  • @starbirdblue if u have to wonder "how strong" its not love. 1 Cor 4-8, my favourite part is that it never fails. the world today celebs especially have changed the meaning of love to pre-nup etc but i'm traditional so i go with the bible, it's managed to last longer than most marriages today

  • im so glad halle married meade

  • halle berry?

  • that comb ova is FARESH lol get it meade

  • Tried to post lackawanna blues and it didn't work. sorry guys.

  • Thanks so much for posting this movie. I enjoyed it when it first aired and have been trying to find it on video/DVD for some time.

  • I really appreciated the ending. Love keeps a marriage alive. Without God and love there is no foundation.

  • @claritycentral and trust and communication too

  • @claritycentral So true. This was such a beautiful illustration of what marriage is supposed to mean.. and life.

  • I loved this movie so much, I'm glad I have saw it!

  • Eric Thal is Meade, of course. I want to be the one he's kissing.

  • who is eric thai is he mead or the nighbor?

  • I've had a crush on Eric Thal since I first saw him in The Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag. He looks so cute after the I do's.

  • I like Eric too. I first saw him in a movie with Naomi Campbell Prisoner of Love. He was such a cutie, great acting chops too.

  • lunargoddess2002, Not exactly sure who sent this movie to me, but it seems as if it's a really good one (I'm a huge interracial fan myself, and thank God/Jesus that 'they're' not prejudice). If there's a way that I can view 'the whole thing', I'll be sure to do so even if it's via YouTube. Would you or anyone else here happen to know if this is available on DVD as if yet? I also enjoyed 'Mr. and Mrs. Loving', and was stunned to find out that actors from many years ago dated & married blacks too

  • Thank you for posting this wonderful movie/miniseries. I really enjoyed every bit of it!!

  • eric thal proves his acting versatility in this film -- he was also a believeable and angry star of made for television SAMSON AND DELILAH, with Elizabeth Hurley -- you can see his pecs through his sports shirts but not necessarily when he wears his suits

  • Thank you for posting!

I love this movie, Halle Berry, and I can TOTALLLLY relate to it!

  • there is a movie called Mr and Mrs. Loving (based on true story), it also has a similar storyline to this movie. Do you have this movie? I want someone to post this movie to0! :)

  • I love that movie. But other than the fact that a black woman married a white man, it really isn't that similar. Mr. and Mrs. Loving is focused on the actual struggle of segregation and the laws that prohibited blacks and whites from being married, the violence and all. It is more political. This mini-series is about the dynamics of a family dealing with notions along the color lines. I really don't view them as being all that similar. But I do love that movie though!

  • do u have mr and mrs loving tv movie on youtube ?

  • No, I don't. I'm sorry. But I would definitely love to see it again.

  • daishalinton, thoroughly enjoyed this movie as well. As I stated below (or above if you will) was also surprised to find out that a few (perhaps more than a few actually) well-know actors from back in the day, either dated or 'married' black women (some of them well-known) when it wasn't considered a 'proper' thing to do. Will check this movie out for myself. Thanks for posting it.

  • I can't believe how long this movie was! Thanks for posting it!

  • Thank you lunargoddess, really liked this movie, I know you spent alot of time positng it!

  • Been looking all over for this! Thank you. Inspired me in part to write my novel Sweet Magnolia! (Essence Mag Book Club Pick). Also stayed in "the oval" on a writer's retreat next to house of Dorothy West...love our movies!

  • I'd like to read your book. Where can I get it?

  • @yorkwifey09

    did you finish your book?

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE! Thank you for posting.

  • god meade is such a cutie ahh i want that man haha.

  • Thank you so much for posting this, I love this movie and halle berry.

  • girl, u kno i saw dat lol!!! it was great

  • lunargoddess did u see introducing dorothy dandridge?

  • Indeed I have. Halle is my girl. I don't have it on DVD yet. I'm trying to get my film collection up and going. But I'll post Their Eyes Were Watching God. If you like Harlem Renaissance writers, you'll love that.

  • I'm posting two more. One is lackawanna blues. I hope you enjoy it. Start looking for it tonight.

  • Thank you so much. What a lovely movie! I learnt quite a bit on the African American culture in the 1950s. Race, colour and social class exist everywhere but generally people and society do believe in rising above all prejudices.

  • Oh you are welcome. No problem. I'm posting another one.

  • lunargoddess2002,

    thank u so much!
