  • Cool, do you plan on making some kind of auto generating maze algorithm for randomly generated mazes?

    I was thinking about that, I'll have to look at a few algorithms first to find out how they work and how reasonable they'd be to implement.

  • blender is already like a maze...

  • awesome! but one thing bothers me. the enemy is a red block. After you get all the important things that you want to do done are you going to make it something else?

    Yes I may make it something else once I get an idea for it, probably a dangerous looking robot.

    You have the .blend file, open it in Blender, and press the P key in the 3D area.

    The instructions were listed on the download page, what's going wrong?

  • @Riyuzakisan my mouse dissapears whenever i play the game and its on the blender window. then again, i just started following the directions. so ill reprt later on what i get, and nothing if it all goes right.

  • @XZekeZapataX Trap door sounds interesting, but it wouldn't really fit in to the scene since the floor is one whole object rather than separate objects. Instead of trap doors though, I'm planning on adding pressure triggered spears that pop out of the floor.

    This needs a good "DIE" affect, mabye a flash of transparent red. And, a health meter made of 100 health? And each deadly object has a configuration for how much damage it does. The trapdoor is also a good idea, mabye every floor area is one block, and a trapdoor can be a block that goes where the floor is. Also a red block, like lava, that instantly kills the player. Anyways; GOOD JOB!

    I was thinking about the die affect too, something along the lines of the transparent red you mentioned but also displaying a temporary message of what killed you. I'm not sure about a health bar though, I want to keep gameplay at a 1 shot basis so if you get hit once you respawn.

    It is public, check the description. You'll need to use Blender 2.57 to play it though (which isn't hard to set up), since there is no way to make an .exe for non-blender users.
