Also, when I hear Jigglypuff, I think of cute, cuddly puffy things, just like Jigglypuff. I think the name fits the Pokemon perfectly. When I hear Purin, I don't associate it with the Pokemon at all. But I guess that just comes from speaking English and not Japanese.

It from the english version, then came with this version things...but they don't spoke right any english name hehe maybe it sound funny for you xD If they pick the original in japanese , at least the japanese names are easy to say in portuguese than the english ones =B I'm just mad with the US verison because have a lot of unnecessary "regionalization" things...like change a japanese name of a japanese person to a germany name....

@dhay03 Oh someone said this show was INTENDED for 4 year olds, when it obviousy were for preteens. but yeah, I get your gist. Satoshi, Kasumi, and Takeshi WOULD be hard for any other country to say. I had expierence with Chinese before though when I was a kid, so its not TOO hard for me. Yes Japanese would be very though for kids. But the solution could be it in Japanese dub with ENGLISH subtitles. That would also solve how many kids in america have trouble with reading
