Legalizaion is not a cure-all for our fiscal dilema but it does have far more positive ramifications than negative. It will generate some revenue, it will create jobs, it will free our law enforcement officers for real emergencies rather than petty pot busts it will free up our prison system....the list goes on. During the Great Depression, they were willing to work for less, so some states agreed to make it illegal so that they could target these races.
