I'm actually American - my husband is Palestinian though - and I learned to make these from my mother-in-law and have made them the last 6 years for the Eids - we celebrate both Christian & Muslim holidays in my house! :)

so, did u convert to Islam or did you keep your Christian faith? I converted to Islam and my husband is undecided about his faith, but i like to include most holidays in the year for the sake of my son ( he's autistic ).
