McCammon my fav. writer. 1st novel I ever read was Boy's Life at age 15. I've read it 7-8 times since then and will continue to read it whenever I get the urge to. Right now I'm reading the Matthew Corbett series. Going to pick up Mister Slaughter today. Thus far, this series, as far as enjoyability, is on par with The Dark Tower from SK. Once I finish the entire series, I'm sure it'll be my favorite. Wolf's Hour, Usher's Passing, Swan Song--McCammon truly paints the most vivid pictures.
@maximus440 his book 'Gone South' is my favorite. check out this one, and "Mister Slaughter" too is better than swan song. both r. i read 'swan song' too. way too drawn out but still good.

This interviewer is braindead and Robert McCammon knows it, but I guess he has too much

@PoetsLight ---->ALABAMA<--- bound bla bla bla...what did you expect?

@miguedro Doubt it has anything to do with Alabama, afterall McCammon is from Alabama. This host just sucks the big one.

He's cool, she's kinda... funky.
I'm finishing SwanSong these days. It's so visceral, like a head movie, I just had to order STINGER and BOY's LIFE. It's great to find new writers.

He is the BEST story writer ever.
I highly recommend his novel Swan Song. If you liked The Stand, then you'll love Swan Song. They Thirst was the best vampire story I've read as well

I'm reading The Stand right now, and had just bought Swan Song, I guess a bunch of people get them in pairs.
And since I like vampires, I'll be sure to get They Thirst

Glad to see this guy's still writing. Though a lot of his stuff's out of print, which is almost an injustice.

Swan Song I hear is a good book, I'm going to try to read it probably next year.

A great writer. I agree the interviewer seemed kind of clueless about who he was, but McCammon has always been something of a hidden treasure.

I'm not sure this lady had any idea the caliber of author she was interviewing and it was kind of amusing. Can't wait for Mr. Slaughter!
