  • Haha, the girl below me, is like one of my best friends. We graduated together from Forks High school in 2007. It is cool you are excited about Forks. I love seeing the tourists get so excited about our little town... But Mike Newtons family does not own Forks Outfitters..or "thriftway" (what mst of us call it). The Paul family currently owns it...and has for as long as I can remember.

Hope you can make it out to Forks. Go visit Leppells Flowers by the high school.

  • Quilaute - "Quil-Uh-Yute"

    Kalaloch - "clay-lock"

    Neah Bay - "Nee-yuh" Bay

    ...Just for future reference...

  • go maria! (deppyfool7) this is neve

  • it is amazingly cold. I live in

Washington. I know. Forks Outfitters, ughh, yeah, I've been there.

  • I went to that Forks Outfitters last Memorial Day. Oh yeaaah :)

  • Where did all your hair go? Are you a guy?

And You actually have friends what dam girl would want to be your friens?

  • Okay, so I wish I had a means of video responding...alas NO camera! Anyhoo, you are hilarious! I've recently become a new obsessed Twilight fan and ugh! I wish I could respond to some of those videos you and Bre are doing! I have some interesting thoughts. Boo me!

  • Jennifer, It is my opinion that it is perfectly fine for you to be enthusiastic about these books! I am from La Push and we are thrilled about these books, as well! Please do not allow the negative comments from those negative people to put a damper on your zest for our area or the stories! If you do happen to travel to western washington, I would be happy to show you and your family around.

  • "Massage the sand"? HAHAHAHA.

  • Not trying to be rude... but your not saying ANY of the places right... and its just a town that some author decided she was going to set her book at... its not that big of a deal... i think its really funny actually how everyone used to think OMG its forks as a bad thing but now everyone is freaking out because "vampires live there"... believe me there is no edward or bella. there isnt any of this... its just a normal town

  • sequim is pronounced See-kwee-um.

  • Uh actually. it's pronounced "SQUIM." I lived in Forks for 15 years...

  • so, was watching one of your videos, and you said something about imprinting. . . and that jacob didnt imprint on bella the first time he saw her, so they shouldnt be together? but he very well might have imprinted on her later, and never told her, which is what i think. they don't have to imprint on someone the first time they see her, as demonstrated by Jared and Kim. he sat by her in school for a year, and then he imprinted on her. therefore, jacob could have imprinted on bella.

  • Stephanie Meyer's website-

No. And this is how you can be sure: in New Moon, after the first time Jacob becomes his wolf phase, he is mean to Bella. He won't tell her what is wrong. He says he can't see her anymore. If he'd imprinted on Bella in that moment (and it happens the first time you see the person after you've phased), he would have answered all her questions. Pretty much, he would have given her anything in the world she wanted.

And Jared did not imprint on Kim until he had phased.

  • You know, I thought about that, then I felt retarded ;]

  • I live in Washington for my whole life. It is like 5 hours from Fork.

We don't have rain all the time. I suggest visiting in the summer, because it is not horrible rain wise or cold.

I should probably make a video, when I get off crutches. It is a very gorgeous place, but also visit Seattle and some other cities. Washington is surprisingly entertaining and cultural.

    Peace out, Sarah.

  • lmao THIS IS MIKE NEWTONS STORE! DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!

  • I love how you got to the website and it says "The Home of Twilight" at the top!!!!

  • You should go there if you can! It's beautiful... providing, of course, that you like rain/overcast skies. I think it's rained every time I've been in that area- even in summer. OH, and if you haven't found enough to do there (although it sounds like you have) bring your passport- there are ferries that go from Port Angeles to Victoria, B.C.- which is quite possibly the cutest place ever (even if it is a tourist trap).

Oh, and just so you know, Sequim is pronounced like "skwim."

  • Oh, and you should also look at going to Lake Crescent Lodge it's in Port Angeles. It's gorgeous! (They have a website with pictures, you should look!) Okay, I'll stop giving you places to go now... heheh sorry. I love this state a little too much- it makes me happy when people want to come here. I would do a video showing all of these places if I could, but none of my friends have read Twilight yet, so they wouldn't want to go, and I have an amazing talent for getting lost on my own.

  • i love how we are all obsessed with characters that Stephanie Meyer invented in her head. it's like her imaginary friends that became friends with everyone else. it's so hard being in love with a fictional character! edward..i'm coming to forks and i'm finding you!

  • This made me so fucking happy!

I was going to say you have no idea, but you totally do!

  • Haha. I love your freaking out at the Newton's store. XDD

I found out the other day that Rosalie lived in Rochester, NY while she was still alive. I go to school in Rochester. I am currently located in the place where Rosalie lived! *squee*

  • I totally want to know if the Cullens' house down the hidden turn-off is real. HOW AWESOME WOULD IT BE IF IT WAS?!

Ohmigosh. I'm joining you in the freaking out thing.

  • massage the sand~! thats GREAT

  • Oh and I totally want to go to Volterra, too!!!

  • I've been to La Push and Port Angeles a few summers ago. When I statred reading the book, I freaked out and dug up all my pictures from the trip. I walked where Edward saved Bella and saw Jacob's beaches!!! I'm excited for myself!

  • OHMIGOD IT'S ALL REAL!!!

  • Hahaha. You're amazing.

Funnily enough, I love places like that anyway. I prefer cold to hot.

But yeah, a trip to Forks is a must.

  • I was totally flipping out about everything you were reading in the brochures. xD

  • Dude! If you go to Forks...you get like a goodybag from this Quiluete lady, and inside theres like sand from First Beach. Also the Quiluete lady tells you stories, and they give you like this map that shows you places in the book. I hear it's great fun!

  • "And it sounds really effing beautiful." Hahahaha, that was great. I also love that 'REAL PLACE' is one of the tags.

  • Okay, as I am watching this, it has not yet been rated. And it is still #33 highest rated in places/travel for today. :P

Forks sounds really pretty. I might get to go to Seattle this May, but it doesn't sound like I'll be able to go to Forks :(

    Kelly ~/`~

  • *Squees at Twilight references!!!!* Trust me, you're not the only one flipping out.

  • Omg! I would be as excited if I had those in my hands! and YES! I got pictures from La Push beach from internet and I even have one as a deskop image :] I soo wanted to live over there when I read the books *Drools*

THE NEWTON'S STOREEE OMG OMG OMG!!! I was screaming with oyu on that one!

I swear as soon as I get money in my hands I am going to the US! and Washington is definetely in my list! AND OMG! I AM GOING TO VOLTERRA IN AUGUST!!!

  • (It's a continuation of misery.)

The fact that you're getting brochures made me die of laughter. I could totally send you stuff if you really want them xD Hahaha.

    Come to Washington, please.

    xxx

  • you're crazy. crazy awesome.

  • Oh, Jen... I heart you.

  • ROFL.

omg. when you were trying to say 'volterra', i was like, "volterra! thank you" the same time you did. that was awesome.

    this video is freaking amazing.

  • I love you. So, so much. Take me with you :D

I don't fault you at all for flipping out. It's awesome because it's just as exciting as being able to visit, say, Diagon Alley, but you can ACTUALLY DO IT.

  • That's so cool, I want those travel guides. I bet we're like the only two peope in the world that would be excited to get travel guides from Washington. lol.

  • Still laughing. Funniest video ever.

  • Forks Outfitters is like the Thriftaway, at least according to the Forks website.

  • gah, i want go to Fork for my birthday, but on Edwards birthday (because i'm cool like that.) with my friends that are in love with the Twilight books too, but i live all the way in south Florida and the plane tickets are like $500

  • If you go to Forks a Quileute lady gives you a "Welcome to Forks" package with like sand from First Beach, and tells you stories!

  • Ahaha! I love how excited you are over the travel brochures!

    Um...I'M GOING!
