  • That was a perfect balance of mystery and suspense

  • Talented

  • cool and creepy

  • It seems you forgot to invert the reflection of the door in the mirror...

  • Great video. The expressions on her face were really clear and I didn't for a second doubt why she did what she did. Although, this feels sort of like part of a larger piece. I'm kind of wondering what she was doing before she went into the room, and why she couldn't see her reflection. My guess is that she's a ghost.

  • @hanahluck you're absolutely right. there is a longer story to this. I may return to it someday and complete it.

  • I liked your animation, very good..

I make clay mation, chek my channel

  • @CrazyCutie131 lol but he's not slouching

  • 666 is the devil's number lol, 666 likes

Anyway, that's a well deserved like. Great work there.

  • Scary. Being afraid of mirrors seems to be part of an old superstition, but still, remind me not to go near mirrors that have scary bloody cloth draped over them.

I'm not upset about the monster because even though the girl looked scared out of her wits here, I bet that she beat the crap outta that thing in the next frame. :)

  • "I walked down to the ocean After waking from a nightmare No moon, no pale reflection Black Mirror, Black Mirror Shot by a security camera You can't watch your own image And also look yourself in the eye Black Mirror, Black Mirror, Black Mirror I know a time is coming. The black mirror knows no reflection It knows not pride or vanity It cares not about your dreams It cares not for your pyramid schemes Their names are never spoken The curse is never broken The curse is never broken."

  • Jump-scare FTW!

  • Absolutely brilliant! dig it! only thing is that since the mirror plays such a huge part in this, I couldn't help but noticing right away that the door isn't actually mirrored in the mirror.

  • @LittleMissWerepire

    I think that's actually a woman.

  • @Tomaji I was starting to wonder if I should leave that up to everyone to decide, but I did write the answer in the description. Yes, it's a woman. Though I can definitely see the Death Note resemblance now that someone mentioned it.

  • @LittleMissWerepire o.o for some reason to me he (or she?) looks kinda like Sekai from School Days..i have no idea why though lol

  • @LittleMissWerepire maybe it is

  • I like the way the guy looks. Dressed in white, short spiky dark hair, pale skin... its like Tim Burton!

  • WTF!!! not cool man i dropped my coffee lol nice job!

  • nice. love the writing and sound at the ending!

  • Wow, this was actually terrifying. Amazing job!

  • inspired by tim burton??

  • @moneyjr1122 actually inspired by Henry Selick, He's probably my favorite Director next to Brad Bird and the reason I really became interested in stop motion.

  • @hasaniwalker just purely wonderful stop motion is an absolute unique way to express motion in art of writing and acting give the audience a kind of curiosity of the different world ,which this short film was is an idea to create a horror base or it just a piratical piece for creativity ?

  • @moneyjr1122 like "Snip" and "They Forgot" it was a simple idea that I felt made a good short film. I never planned on making this into any kind of series, though I do have ideas for a few series. Someday I hope to get one of those idea into production.

  • @hasaniwalker God bless you for realizing that most "Tim Burton" inspired style is actually Henry Selick inspired style. Very nicely done I must add. Is it hard to make the stop motion puppets?

  • @JaniceGhostHunter13 Thank you for the complement, I believe I'd be giving stop-motion a disservice if I were to misquote the inspired style or misinform people of who actually directed the Nightmare Before Christmas. It's actually very simple to make the puppets. They have aluminum wire skeletons covered with foam to bulk them up and cloth sewn/glued over that. The heads are made from a bakable clay with paper cut outs for mouths and vaseline on the eyes so I can move the pupil around.

  • @hasaniwalker I'm glad you're honest. It pisses me off when people think it was all Tim Burton is all. I don't think he deserves as much credit as he is given (lol, can you tell I don't like him?). I see. what a novel approach! I want to see if I can make my own, but I beleive trial and error is what is going to follow. I'm happy you were kind enough to let me know of one way to tackle it :) You, my friend, have talent!
