It spread eventually, and Marley, being the man he was, didn't go for 'conventional' Cancer treatment, but tried the "Issels Treatment" (abstinence of certain foods/drinks, generally - now - considered ineffective) - it didn't work, the Cancer spread, and finally spread to his lungs & brain, unfortunately. RIP Bob.

(Am sure he smoked enough ganja though, nonetheless...)
