  • useless... what do the numbers mean

  • @specialformula14 first number is width in mm. second number is proportion of height to width as a percentage (so a second number of 50 would mean the tire is half as tall as it is wide) and the third number is the rim size in inches.

  • can some who knew... about tires wat tell me wat does the 205/r16/50 and wat is the different between the 205/r15/50? im trying to get some low profile tires for racing...

  • @DJNEGROBEATz it should read in this order: 205/50/R16. the first number is the width of your tire, in mm. Yours being 205. the second is the proportion of the height of your tire compared to the width as a percentage. So yours is half as tall as it is wide, or about 102mm high. the last is the size of your rim in inches. Yours is 16 or 15. If you want a low profile tire, you need to find one with a lower middle number. you could try a 205/40/R16 but i suggest a wider tire. what kind of car?

  • Another 'expert' getting it wrong. The number 91 is the load index, it determines the maximum weight the tire may carry. The T is the speed index.

  • thats gay!!!! skateboarding is better!

  • hey thanks alot i didnt know that, now i do

  • Clean the tire so people can follow you.

Not recommended if tires are over 6 years old.

Show people how old the tire is or date manufactured.

  • I presume it works the same with the left tire...

  • yeah buddy u forgot to say how u know how old a tire is

  • help me on that, i dont know how to check on how old a tire is an what is to old for the car , need info on this help please

  • there is a DOT number on one side of the tire and it tells you the week and year it was made for example 1105 means it was made on the 11 th week of 2005 and i recomend not buying tires more than 5 years old because they may have never been used but if they were just sitting there they might be dry rotted and blow on a trip somewhere
