This is probably one of my favorite videos on Youtube, if not my all-around favorite. Not only do I like the song, but the acting and cinematography were great. It tells a nice story, and I really hope you do more.

@mega48man Steampunk isn't really a music genre, more of a style for art, fiction and clothing. Similar to Dieselpunk and Cyberpunk. Abney Park's later stuff (Aether Shanties onwards, possibly earlier) is steampunk in lyrics, but varies so wildly that the only thing linking it all together as a genre is the steampunk lyrics.

@Charmalite The park at 1:22 is Trinity Square, behind the Eaton Center [where the tiny church is]. The waterfall at 2:53 is a small park... MMMmm forget what it's called... Cloud something, located south of the Bay, across the street. Cloud Gardens, that's it... south side of Richmond, between Bay and Yonge.
Too bad you guys didn't have access to steam-powered velocipedes and airships for the production. This video's got everything else going for it! The music is great.

Only problem I have with the video is that there were too many scenes of just running, you should have added some parkour in there to live nthose scenes up :)

This seriously seems like a professional grade vid. It's exceptionally well done. I adore the sepia coloring, definately makes it better. I also love the little group of people randomly place around XD they're so cool. ^^

While this Video seems to be pretty creative at the start, it lacks of dramatical elements after the Thief gets rid of the 2 hunting guys. I dont know why they don´t meet again. this would be a common dramatical element and would have been usefull in telling something. Besides this direct critique, i really like this video! One of the blessings of being a Steampunk kid is that we tend to be very resourceful.
In fact, a lot of members on Brass Goggles got their goggles from their grandparents and people who lived in that era.
And thrift stores, garage sales, etc.
Learning to sew might be a good idea, too.

Real world? I thought you two were arguing about Robin Hood. You know, a fictional character. Nevermind that Fiendwald is, as are so many folks, essentially wrong about the "Robin Hood" character. He didn't "rob from the rich to give to the poor". He robbed from the tax collector, the embodiment of an overreaching government, to give back to the tax payer. Me, I'm all for it. Too bad that's been so utterly twisted by the socialists among us.

HE was dissing Robin Hood and the poor. I was simply stating that not all poor people refuse to work, many work and they work hard to make a living, instead of living off Daddy's or Granddaddy's inheritance. How is he able to reply to that comment? I thought I had him blocked. I'm not going to bother reading his insults. People on this site really are pathetic, instead of enjoying a good video or good music, they use this to bash people.
