They're called harmonies... I think it sounds perfect. It's just not exactly the same as the album. Portnoy still sings the low part, and LaBrie takes the chorus a different direction.

On the recording Portnoy's growl at the start of the chorus is more prominent, so I'm sure from this recording it just doesn't sound as deep

Best song DT has released since Octavarium and A Change of Seasons before that. Can't wait to see it recorded perfectly on their next DVD!

Also, John Myung is one of the best bassists in the world. He may be a little too modest (or, as the band puts it, spooky), but the work he does with Dream Theater is nothing short of mind blowing. He is irreplaceable, really.
