Warren Buffett, an Atheist, donates $37B to charity, yet under Christian philosophy, he is going to hell because he doesn't believe in God. However, a serial killer, can kill 15 innocent people, then on death row come to Jesus, come to God, confess his sins, and live in paradise for eternity. It is not okay to think like this.

Lectures from Sam Harris, Christopher Hitchens(discription of my "2am vlog" video has links), Richard Dawkins, and Lawrence Krauss. TheThinkingAtheist and TheAtheistExperience on youtube (and facebook) are good places to find information, and meet like-minded people. Science is beautiful and wonderful, man. Peace.

also i find it funny that atheists always say "your god" is selfish, evil, etc. It's almost like they have genuine hatred for an invisible entity! How can someone be so bitter towards someone that doesn't exist? Therefore I've always found this quite indicative that (the God of the Bible) exists. It's like people denying Jesus existed. Isn't it funny how he's the only person whose existence is questioned? To me this reeks of flagrant denial that he not only existed, but was the Son of God.

i like the way you think, we have simillar thoughts. what alot of people think is that humans came from other walks of life or animals or so on and so forth. but even if there was a god, ecology and all theese methods and gravity and all theese science would still be here to to make life substainable. i do believe religon was made up to help people sleep at night, and to scare people into doing the right things. who knows there is probably another life form in the universe..

as a Christian the advice i would give is to seek God through spirituality, not religion. obviously religion is imperfect because it's man-made.

Something to think about: Cannabis is a God's gift to his creation, and therefore by saying that Cannabis is good and wonderful, you are, whether you know it or not, actually saying the God who made it is good and wonderful. Kind of cowardly to indulge in God's gifts to us without giving thanks or even worse: not recognizing his existence at all.

Religion was created to give people something to follow, the ten amendments gave them ten major rules that made living together as a society possible-just to recite one major one-You shall not kill. Also, I'm an anti-theist, too. Like you said, prove to me that god exists and I'll believe you.

It seems that for people that believe in god, believing in the devil is the best way to rationalize the things that hapen that they don't wish to blame on their god. I think religion is overrated,I live in Greece and religion here is a big deal to most people.Just to give you an example,there are 365 villages on my island,and every single village has a church in it,if it's a big village it can have up to 5 churches.I live in one of the big villages,and there is 5 churches just where I live.So roughly there are at least 500+ churches just on my island.I thinks it's crazy and no need to have so many.I don't go to church just for big holidays,and that's it...
