  • Best beat i ever seen

  • Classic..!!

  • Rae & Ghost!

  • I'm probably gonna get a ton of backlash but, in my opinion OBFCL was Raekwon's only good album.

  • @steeltownbrown52

I really can't find any fault with that opinion.

  • @Broyale26 Not saying "Immobilarity" sucked, but none of his following LPs could measure up to this. I think the only Wu members that comes close to having a series of good albums is Gza and GFK. And Masta Killa,so far so good. I'm excluding Deck cause I've only heard "Uncontrollable Substance".

  • @steeltownbrown52 The second Cuban linx was actually one of the best albums that year.

  • @AQGOAT24 That's what I've heard but the only track underground radio would spin was that one J Dilla-produced track. And they spun it way too much, so it turned me off of OBFCL2

  • Scarface & Ghostface - the best face combination.Fuck facebook :D

  • Cuban = Cue Dub ?!?

Cabon = Good Old Soul ?!?

  • classic album

  • @RELAPSERR This is 16 years old, man. Who wants to listen to what their dad listens to? I mean, I love this, this is my one of my favorite eras of hip hop - the quality post-36 Chambers shit, when you really felt the Wu could still get back together and make a good album with ease, which they never really did... but I'm not mad at today's hip-hop either

  • @ReadeMoore WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO LISTEN TO THIS????? cuz good music never dies.....AN WU TANG IS FO EVA

  • @captainofyourstarshi I don't think I was clear with what I was saying - I was replying to some guy saying this song makes all today's hip-hop sound bad or something... I was just trying to say you can't be mad at kids not really checking for the old classics, since this might even be older than the kids we're talking about in the first place!

But yeah, I agree - Good music never dies. I hope to the godz that kids DO make the time to listen to this.

    "Wu Tang, again?

    Ah yeah... again and again!"

  • cocaine. V.A. these days - !!

  • I love the sosa intro....

  • I'm ashamed I've never had a Ghostface album. Easily one of the Illest & most Vicious in hip-Hop as far as just...Style. I mean his names Ghostface what more can you ask for out of a rapper? That alone is more creative than most modern rappers minds, id even have to get into his lyrics.

  • @KristopherKasce

    word up!

  • Criminal Mastermind? No. He's just black.

  • @2bbgunzup ahahahahahah

  • You adapt like a flashback chain reaction

wtf does tha mean lol ghost still ill tho

  • Ghost ripped dat track yo. Rae came hard though. Rae and Ghost prolly da best duo. Wu-Tang Gangsta and street intelligent as fuck.

  • Everything around me is black....Um Hova uh not cool

  • im 14 this is a hip hop GOD

  • "I told you a long time ago, you little fucking monkey, not to fuck me!"

It's the small details you appreciate about this song, and all Wu, really. The opening sample. The little trills in the beat.

  • Rae says "lace them lyrics sun"...not just a minute...wikipedia style correction.

  • @Ahsap7 I think he says: "Lace them niggaz son", as in "Lace them with bullets".

  • one of the rzas best works.the song is called criminology and this beat reminds me of the sound made when a door of a jailcell closes.the beat represents the title of the song!

  • ghost's illest verse fooo sho

  • CLASSIC

    100/*5*

  • Ghostface is so crazy in this.

  • drums on this are so nice...you gotta love it when that classic sample drops in

  • word classic shit but my fave joint is the heaven and hell the soul in that joint is ill

  • The greatest drug dealin record on the planet. Wu Tang Forever.

    1

  • this shit right here is 8th grade puffin an L after school shit....can't nothing come close to this right here lyrically or beatwise...mad respect 2 these gods

  • C L A S S I C I S S I I I I I C K WUUUUUUU

  • you try to flee but u got smoked up by the doorway

  • rae and pretty tony spitting over a sick ass beat........classic!

  • This and Mobb Deep's The Infamous were two of the hardest cd's out during the summer of '95. Back when niggas weren't afraid to call out wack rappers. Back when the south was known for great music like 8 Ball and MJG, Geto Boys and Scarface, Outkast and the Goodie Mob.

Back when the music meant something, not sissy dancing and quasi homosexuality.

  • Ain't that the truth!

  • You couldnt of said it better mane! I miss old 90's rap... now the only good rappers are The Game, Cube (sorta he kinda melted) and pretty much alot of the rappers that used to rap in the 90's (except eminem... and snoop dogg lost his touch)

  • amen to Broyale26

  • @Broyale26 Liquid Swords too as well as Return To The 36 Chambers.

  • @Broyale26 Fucking right. Well said man... hip hop was the shit back in the day.

  • How many of yall had the purple tape? or should I say how many purple tapes did you have lol

  • LOL, good question.

I had this on tape, vinyl and cd.

I remember when the Ice Cream single was out. I bought this on tape back in the summer of '95(great year for hip hop) with DJ Quik Safe and Sound and Mack 10's first album. I think I still have my purple tape in a shoebox or something. This was the hardest joint off that album, which means alot since the album is essentially perfect. (though it took me awhile to warm up to heaven or hell)

  • Still got mine! This joint was the ONLY REASON that i bought this album!

  • why?? all the tracks are dope

  • Ture! But for some us REAL hip hop heads, we had a fav joint on an album & to me, this was THE joint !!! Y'all might like "ice Cream or "incarsiated scarfaces" but my joint [banger] was "criminolgy" cuz of the beat PLUS the horns!!!! [dont hear that in hip hop anymore! :-( ]

  • true true, i'm a little bit younger to have gone out and bought this album when it came out but i am a REAL hiphop head too

  • i told you for a long time ago... you fucking little monkey not to fuck me...

    --

Who da fuck you think you're talkin' to huh?! Who da fuck do you think I'm; you fucking dough boy! You wanna go to war!

One of my favorite lines in Scarface

  • You wanna go to war, wanna go to war? I take you to war,OK?!

  • Lol, I know dude, every time I hear that line, I think, "aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh shit! Somethin' is about to get fucked up!" Its like that line is telling you to commence to DUMB THE FUCK OUT!

  • Ghostface Killah... FUCKING BEST!

  • "champagne thoughts" - damn right

  • i like this shit is da best everrrrrrrrrrr.know wat im say

  • thats what it is

  • papoose used this beat but i like wu tangs better
