Did these same people have a strong education in theology when they became catholics? No, it's just that Christian missionary got to them first.

hmmm, true it could be a variety of reasons. I have converted from one religion to another recently, and before doing so I did a lot of research. I read a lot of books, listened to lectures, talked to people, etc before making my decion. She should have at least done a little bit of research. Because I dont think people should believe in anything unless they have documented proof about it or a tangible sign from God.

Is God so weak to need a sacrifice to forgive people? Secondly, it is very clear (not left out in the Quran) that God is All-Forgiving. The only thing you need to do is repenting sincerely. God forgives and has an infinite mercy upon us. No blood of an innocent (Jesus) or other events which are apperantly from old Babilonian beliefs. Encantada come to the truth, just ask for forgiveness and God will forgive you if you do not associate any partners with him. May God show you the truth.Amen
