Answer to the question: Lets say if there was one family of chimpanzees to begin with, then half of them move to a different area, with different species and they adapt to this new environment while the other half stays in the same spot. Will all the chimpanzee's be adapted to this new environment, or just the group who migrated? If I moved to France and left my family behind. In science you can never prove anything true, you can only provide evidence supporting a hypothesis or falsifying a hypothesis. This is to further limit incidence of type 1 error (rejecting the null and accepting an alternate) which creationists are so horribly guilty of.

evolution does not claim that "humans evolved from monkeys" as this guy in the video says. evolution states "humans and monkeys share a common ancestor". That being said. there is diversity in every species. many kinds of cat. lions are much stronger and bigger than the household cat. they do come from a common ancestor. As primates, Humans are much smarter than monkeys,. But lets not forget they are stronger. These differences accounted for our adaption to different environments.

Actually what evolution says is that we evolved from a common ancestor of monkeys, but not actually monkeys. But I still understand Estes' argument as evolution does not still rule out the existence of a creator (God).

I am a Muslim/Agnostic and this guy makes absolutely no sense. He has no idea how rigorously a hypothesis is tested before it gets the status of a theory and how theories are the best possible answers available. Until someone can come up to me and disprove all the scientific evidence that supports Evolution with an alternative theory that makes more sense. I prefer to believe in Evolution.

I have nothing against religions and the morals often lead to good but keep religion out of science please.

But other than that, keep the religious stories whether Quranic or Biblical out of science and let it do it's wonders. The problem with the concept of evolution is that it's misunderstood. A proper definition of evolution is that it's a very slow change that takes place with every living thing based on the environment. This does not imply that every living thing will progressively evolve.
