MSBC Hardball: Ken Blackwell on Abortion

IVF techniques have advanced to the reliable point that implanting a single viable human embryo in the womb is becoming standard protocol. It is now unethical to do a large number of embryo implantations. Mr. Blackwell confuses this advance in science with a projected recognition of a viable embryo as a "person" deserving of constitutional protections by physicians and the scientific community.

Mr. Blackwell was wrong two years ago and he is wrong now. Keep faith out of the doctor's office.

Ken Blackwell has learned nothing in several years. He claims to have 40 years experience at "family economics" and yet he still can't pronounce "in vitro" (fertilization). He said "in VIRTO" twice today 27 Oct 2011 on MSNBC's "Hardball" with Chris Matthews. He clearly does not understand the components and technique of IVF. I suspect he does not understand the human potential of zygotes. He mentions a crescendo mantra of "egg, embryo, baby" without including sperm, the male zygote.

There are no 'morals' in our America.I appreciate the guy hoping but there aren't.I'm in TX.Girls start early (15) get knocked up by several guys, & don't get married.The State/Dad have to pay paternity fees & the woman 'HAS A CAREER!'She then gets Support, a 'LoanStar' welfare card, free food (cereal, peanut butter dairy) & if she plays her cards right 'Habitat' will give her a free house! Quit rewarding women for bad behavior. Make sure the kids o.k. but not 1 cent to Mom.PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

Love Blackwell, not the most articulate guy, but he is smart and a great leader with strong conservative principles.

What's annoying about this is that Blackwell won't admit what he's thinking - they don't want access to or use of contraception either. They need everyone to live their lives EXACTLY as they want them to. They're not trying to come together and solve problems - they're trying to win the argument.

Sorry. Intelligence is what separates us. Animals have will's just ones backed up with less information about themselves and their surroundings. And one more thing, just because it needs to be pointed out to dumb people. Humans are animals. The comparison itself is ridiculous. What's the difference between lizards and reptiles. How about sparrows and birds, what's the difference there?
