It is soo nice masahalah but i don,t no if this is right if you like adopt a orphan child that child can not say to you dad or mom is this right can someone explain this to me ?
i dont know if u got a reply but as far as my knwledge goes & its not much but if u adopt a son then he attains puberty he is not a mahram i.e lyk ur father ,brother,husband etc.therefore he is a stranger and all d laws which apply to strange men in d shariah will fall upon u in a case lyk this also if u have any daughters he can marry them so d laws of hijaab applies.i dnt kno if u understand by my limited explantion.if i said wrong its from me & whats rite is from allah mercy.4give me if i err
Hey, i saw this reply and wanted to tell you that this is not the case. Well, not with Hanafi muslims anyway. Mufti Ebrahim Desai [a respectable and established mufti] has said that islamically, an adopted child will become like ones own child and the parents will not have to treat him like a ghayr mahram. Though i do not know if this is different depending on the age of the child or anything. Hope this helps.
