bought that config from a guy on tcniso years and years ago, then shared it with the community. Thats comcast config, think it was 30/1. Its old and i belive there are 0/0 configs which you can pull directly from their tftp servers now, which is a unlimited config and only limited by node cap or modem.
The config isnt edited... if you edited it you would mess up the hmac-md5 hashes in the config and the headend would reject the config and it would just keep resetting the modem and redownloading the config.
Your node services about 3 city blocks... there are proobly about 50 drops connected to that node and atleast 16 tap per drop more if you in a apt community... so unless they're gonna go around pulling 800+ suscribers lines checking each one manually.. so unless you download or uploading crazy amounts of data every day their likely not even gonna waste the man hours and money to do so.
also, sigma allows you to change the modems mac address. the mac address is associated with your account and name... they can get the mac address of the uncapped modem and track it back to you easily, if your using a unsuscribed mac address or joe blows mac address from the next city over its not so easy.. they can still track the modem back to your node.

hosting a game server and 50 kps upload speed isn't goin to cut it, one person on the website can't even load the webpage in less then 8-9 seconds
