The Teletone Single Screw was discontinued because the single screw cant take the pressure and the toe taps would split down the middle along the screw line. If a tapper is spending the money, might as well get the 3 screw. The 3 screw version is more durable, altho I would personally recommendMiller and Ben tap shoes. Capezio K360's or
