How to get Megaton house and Tennpenny tower suite in Fallout 3

@mynameisjamesj but im pritty far right now and dont wanna start over but i dont have the second house or so. this is my first fallout gameso. i dint kill lucas. i killed burke and than i went to the saloon and when lucas came out the door sways open and he just falls dead. ifound a keyring i dot know if i need that?

@joeyke26 There must be a bug or glitch if lucas is falling dead. You may need that key, yes. If you get the key, you have access to the house. Also, if you want the tenpenny tower suite, you have to release the ghouls in to there.

so im totally fucked? i killed burke and then i got outside and the doors sways open and kills lucas. i cant defuse the bomb i think and nothing. i already saved over it. so no way of getting the house?

@joeyke26 Is that into your megaton house? Lol why did you kill Lucas Simms? You might want to keep him alive, i think he gives you the key to your new house. You have to defuse the bomb. If your repair is low enough then get the equipment it requires. So I think you have to try and find a way to start it again =/

@ARandomProductionsTT Seeing as lucas simms gives you the key, its a difficult one. I would reload the save and kill burke before he kills lucas.

@mynameisjamesj I have done this but im kinda scared since i have alot of rare equipment (like the prototype medic power armor and alien blaster) stored at the tenpenny suite but i done technically "own it" do i? because i heard that containers you but stuff in that doesnt belong to you or are simply "unnoccupied" will delete stuff after a set time limit, and i have not blown up megaton yet (im gonna wait for almost perfect then get all stat bobbleheads) will this happen to the stuff ive stored?

Someone help me. i rigged the atom bomb and killed both guys at tenpenny tower, but did not detonate the bomb. And now i dont have any house. help! cant get it trough balcony, i have the game patched to latest on PS3

@66birdman66 Not stupidity. I just wanted to see the nuclear explosion and then load again and kill those guys, because i didn't want to blow up Megaton. i started again. This it the first RPG type of game. But can you tell me how rigging a bomb is retarded? Maybe those features you described my personality with actually belong to you. Watch it, don't think that on internet you can say what you want, you get what you give, just maybe in another way. say what you want, It's your life, not mine.

@xYukicore777 that's fine. i've blown megaton to shit and then loaded back to when burke gives me the fusion pulse charge too, but in your previous comment you say that you're stuck in something that was caused by blowing up the town. so if you were just going to reload a certain point, then why would you care about such a problem? my point about rigging the bomb being retarded is the fact that it is a very poor strategic move.

oh and about the last of your comment, i dont believe in karma.

@xYukicore777 those good and bad things you're talking about will happen regardless of your actions. good and bad things happen all the time to everyone. you cant just say that when something happens to you, that it was because of something you did in the past. frank abagnale was a con artist and a thief. he owed 2,000,000 dollars in bank money. what happened is that he lived it up until eventualy he got caught and now he's not in jail, he works for the government and enjoys his job.

@66birdman66 yes there always are possibilities that something bad could happen, but i'm not talking about general, i am talking about extra. If you helped someone else, you help yourself improve morale and making things better for yourself, and showing others a good example, it may not be direct give and direct give back, but every small thing improves the overall rating, if you make it bad it will be worse for you, but in the end you will be the one who is living in the world you helped create

It is being destroyed faster than it regenerates... hell, people are taking away even regeneration sources. And Tenny Penny tower sub level is where you get the ghouls to take over the tower.

@chubyguy2 u talk to roy phillips during the 'tenpenny tower' quest (which u get at tenpenny tower). he says about letting them in. so u pickpocket the generator key off chief gustavo and use that to open the basement door (located at the back of the outside of the building) then u hack the terminal (requires 25 science skill). then select the release option.

Yeah its a trick I learnt after trying to let the ghouls out of the sub. Its good, you should do it.
