I was looking for a recipe for these when i came across this video.....living in Florida we went to Disney often as a kid, I remember seeing these there, but my mom was always too cheap to buy any food at all in the actual park for us. We were the family that brought sandwiches in bags.....don't really blame her as you can expect anything at all (souvenirs, food, even umbrellas) at Disney to cost at least twice the price than a regular store, but even so, wish I'd gotten to try one of these. :(
@JTuesday777 yeah i know the feeling my dad was the same, at least though my mom didn't mind getting these legs. They're actually very cheap compared to most food sold at Disneyland. You don't have to go to Disneyworld to find these, you can also go to Disneyland as well.
@1:45, The only reason I come here is to get the turkey legs. Either you're getting in free or you're dumb as hell for paying $80 to get a 2 dollar turkey leg.
there are so many people who are saying "ohhh theme park food, bad for you, really unhealthy" dude, its disney world! you dont go there for your health, you go there to have a good time and splurge lol
@bladewolf39 MSG, whatevs. Chemicals, okay. Not real, so what. Fattening, who cares? in the real world and at home of course i would care about stuff like that but i go to disney for a good time and have the best day(s) of my life. i stop being self-conscious and start focusing on having a good time. Ride the rides, get your picture taken with mickey, eat a turkey leg lol its disney and i love it
hm.. why don't they show the Turkey on the farm? well.. you would stop eating the legs....its to sick to see how sick thous Turkeys are! Or did you think you can eat a Turkey leg this size from a healthy animal? Think again!
Haha it never grows old. So fun watching these redneck americans. Funnier than monkeys. Would want to eat those, looks so juicy.. But to much fat and chemicals for my taste. Im not talking about the birds.
I live in the UK and have been to Florida twice. on the second time i tried the turkey legs....Serious i was 12 and that was basically my diet for the whole time i was at disneyland.
i still remember the taste even though im 18 now 6 years ago. It tasted like cured smoky salty pork and not turkey!
Would defo try it again....as well as a heart attack grill!!!
Haha! probably won't be a popular comment, but have to admit I can't stand those turkey legs! Even the smell of them while walking through frontierland turns my stomach!
i agree with what the cast memeber said at 1:38. WHen I had a turkey leg for the first time at Disneyland two months ago, I literally felt like the Flintstones. I can't wait for my next vacation next summer and have another turkey leg. They're so delicious!
@xxhairstylistx So share with us how we can cook them! I was actually at Disney a few weeks ago and tried one from Trilo Bites and it was absolutely wonderful.
@Yamigata they are just layered in a tin pan and cooked in an oven, thats it...they are injected with brine which is why its pink and juicy so thats what really changes the taste and texture so its hard to replicate at home
I WILL PUNCH SOMEONE IN THE FACE FOR A DISNEYWORLD TURKEY LEG!!!!!!
