I remember first hearing about DCUO and immediately hoping for the possibility of a Marvel counterpart. But alas it was not to be.
Though for those into MMO's, you should have already checked out Guild Wars 2 and Vindictus. Those two games have pulled me right back onto the MMO bandwagon.
4) Cryptic doesn't have a very good base at all. City of Heroes kept most of their team in tact from the transition from Cryptic to NCSoft, who now owns the game. If anything, NCSoft has done a better job then Cryptic ever could have done.
5) Lateral and vertical progress exist in FFXI. Subjobs may be hard to do but it is still a form of progression. Same sort of thing exists in XIV.
@Sagemaster15 4/ City of heroes has had a stable fanbase since launch and still has. IF it didn't, how do you think its kept running? NCSoft are the first to pull plugs on things that do not work. 5/ I might do another talk about FFXI and XIV, they are my opinion and like i said, i felt strongly enough about it to take a stand. Remember though, ive played FAR FAR more grindy MMO's then them so its not the grind thats the issue. If it was, id of said it was flat out. I think il do a video to this
1) Aeria Games is an international company. DWO is being "released" for Europe as well as North America.
2) DCUO got delayed. In fact it's delayed until possibly Spring, we saw that coming though. From a mile away. However, Beta does start the 30th of November for people who have pre-ordered.
3) Console MMOs have been successful. FFXI is probably the best example of an MMO on the market that still exists on consoles.
@Sagemaster15 XD Okay. In short. 1/ Yes, i know. I was just making a point on how much im looking forward to it. 2/ No it hasn't been delayed. Jen Anderson himself came onto DCUO source and said the gamespot date change is wrong and HASN'T been pushed back. Ive seen nothing yet to say it has. Though, where did you find out about the beta? Ive seen nothing to do with that at all and trust me, i look. 3/ I never said they weren't, the difference is that MMO's in general are PC in nature.
so far the only retail MMO I'm looking forward to is The Old Republic. That game looks and sounds like it'll be a Bioware game turned into an RPG. Other than that Guild Wars 2 look and sounds like it might be pretty interesting from what I've heard and seen from PAX videos and such. Cataclism doesn't sound interesting at all and I feel I'm done with WoW...there are free MMOs that are as good (or at least close for free) than WoW

That's about it for me.
