Jonah, with currency debasement, do you think it would be better to pay down bills or not? I have been buying food, water, etc. and winter clothing for next year, but I worry about what wil happen to our debt. It would be logical for this government to debase your debt if it was 3 to 1, same as the dollar . The only problem with logic is that the American govenment right now has none!
If your bills are unsecured and not bothersome I would say it is probably better to be in Gold (if you have wealth you need to protect) and most importantly have what you need in preparations. If the worst happens, economy collapses, or some other crisis mad max scenario who will care about paying or being paid? Debt will be ultimately devalued over time regardless.
ok so lets say you are one those that were smart enought to prepare, 95 percenf of people are not prepared you will have friends and family queing at your door what wil you do then? turn them away?

No one said its going to be easy. Just imagine you lived in Haiti, that would give you an idea of what you might face in the Chaos dept. You wont be able to help everyone. Resoources will be limited, Some tough choices. People think about food water bullets, but what about drug addicts who dont get their fix? How about mental patients who have been able to take their meds? There are many peripheral issues people just have not thought about whne it comes to being prepared!
To get back to Haiti look how long it took to get help. What if it was a wider problem? What if help could not be given? What then? You have to be ready to stand on your to feet and be a Leader and it will be like days of old when people stcuk together and cooperated with their immediate neighbors. yeah sure i understabd what you are saying, yes preparation is a must but what im saying is that those who you warned and didnt prepare will be at your door you will have to feed em. it may sound selfsish but im not telling anyone that im storing food when it all goes crazy i will just look after my family hyper inflation is a certainty
im about to order water cooler bottles from ebay they hold about 19 litres and Im investing in a katadyn there is a river not too far away from me. those katadyns are the best thing ever 50,000 litres!!!!!!!
You dont get it because you only watched 15 minutes of the introduction part of there presentation. Dont be so event focused but more like be prepared to be a leader locally in your community if a serious event occurs. I noticed there is one copy of this 3 VD DVD series on Ebay goes for $65 new I bet someone can get the one on EBay for alot less!
Unfortunately they are retired, and the ones that hvae predominantly taken thier place are nothing like these guys, they have been militarized federalized and have a different mission and perspective.
