Do you ever think about how we hold back parts of our lives from Him, because we're too stubborn, prideful, rebellious, or whatever, and we can't let go? And when we finally realize we're getting nowhere, and just let go, He heals the hurt, and opens our eyes to the future. We (I should be saying "I") make things so much more difficult this way. And it takes so much longer to learn, when we/I do this! Doh! ;)

You know where I got those? I file everything on my computer and was digging through an old folder. It was in an e-mail from 2002! I guess I had decided it was worth keeping. I've now had it pinned to my bulletin board for the last month. I needed some reminders :)
