For example, the recent Doctor Who video game outside of Britain will have a price of something around £5 - £10 while inside Britain it's free because they're not allowed to charge for it. (Then again we have already "paid" via the TV license tax)

@veemonjosh While it's true that if i had to choose between Jap or Eng in general I'd choose Japanese, but everything isn't better in Japanese. e.g. Dr. House is better in English, while House himself isn't bad the random patients and other people are dragging down the show. But about Doctor Who we have e.g. Maaya Sakamoto doing the voice of Rose and she is so much more experienced then Billie Piper will ever be. There's an industry for voice actors in Japan and they're good. I've seen a lot.

I have to say I don't really like dubbing, I prefer watching programmes in the original language with subtitles as you get more of a feel of the moment rather than an actor trying to decide how to say something in a recording studio. But the lipsynching here is very good.
