I think the rise of China is a scary moment for the west. They have been the world leader since the industrial Revolution. It is very difficult for give up the controls that the western contries are enjoying. China is not like Japan or Korea, where US can build military base on them, control their military power. China is a real treat.
@whatalittlepig But what gives the right for the US to have bases anywhere?? Let them have millions of bases in America for all i care, but why on foreign soil??
