yea it is the mastersword.... i guess they changed the name from light 2 master in the USA version

By not collecting any heart containers. There's a reason it's optional. You often see many people going for three-heart runs in nearly any Zelda game.

The thing I want to ask is how did yyou make it to Ganon with the stick? I know how to do the glitch but when you switch swords you loose it. You have to switch swords to beat Zant.

Because there is a SECOND glitch to skip the first metal sword, so the wooden sword remains your first sword.
