  • One of my favorite tracks on Hail To The Thief (2003). I love the piano part!

  • perfect transition from I Will

  • This song is fantastic .

  • Thom, do you think the King of Limbs was a bad album?

Thom Yorke: No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no, noooo noooo noo, no.

  • this song is underated

  • Comment removed

  • No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no THERE'S NO LIMIT

  • I got some punch up at a wedding on the 2nd floor.

  • no x42 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • YES!

  • When he says ¨A drunken punchup at a weddding¨ it sounded very Pink Floyd-ish.

  • This song is funky

  • Did someone really count the 42 no's?

  • Comment removed

  • can has MACCHEESE fries burger ?

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

  • It reminds me some Red Hot Chili Pepper songs in the beginning bass part ~

  • best radiohead album?

  • @UnemployedZombie no x42.

  • @UnemployedZombie no no no no no no no no no no no no ... actually yes.

  • @UnemployedZombie It's up there with OK Computer & The Bends, IMO.

  • @UnemployedZombie Not in my eyes. This is one of my favorite songs though.

  • No no no no no no no.

  • Badass

  • The perfect anti-trolling song.

  • Why does this track remind me so much of CSN&Y ? Must be the melodi and vocals

  • This was the first thing I thought of after watching the No no no no cat

  • this is my third least favorite album by radiohead that tells you how good they are.

  • @wEall12faulter7

Thanks man. I havent heard some of them so ill check them out!

  • Love RH, Hate ''HTTT''

  • @SellTheBenefits if you love Radiohead, I'm not sure you can "hate" any of their work. it's definitely a thing where appreciating one album or song helps you to appreciate another album or song. it's my feeling that they are all parts of a whole. and RH themselves may like this album the least, but as they are focused on the imperfections they cannot see the forest for the trees. listen to this album five more times, start to finish, and see if you still "hate" it then.

  • weakest song off the album i think, but still damned good

  • @MCshlthead ahh you really think so ? this is probably one of my favourites. i just love that piano in the background ! it's weird how fans of the same band can still have varying tastes, haha

  • @chisuun fair enough, i still love this track, actually i completely disagree with the bands choice of 2 + 2 = 5 and there there for singles, for me it should have been sit down stand up, sail to the moon and myxomatosis, i have to say my favourite song from the album is we suck young blood, but i can see why that could never be a single.

  • @MCshlthead sail to the moon is gorgeous, i think. just so, so pretty. and i love myxomatosis so much. i think it's quite possibly my favourite song on the album ! sit down stand up is one that i really have to be in the right mood for to listen to and fully enjoy, i think. i find most of it a bit slow going, but i really love the faster part at the end of it, haha !

i think that's pretty much me all over, i prefer the more 'manic' songs generally. maybe i'm a typical impatient youngster ? LOL

  • @MCshlthead I would have said There, There, Go to sleep and myxomatosis.

  • @MCshlthead i'd choose myxomatosis, a wolf at the door and scatterbrain

  • Love this song!

  • Comment removed

  • I liked the part where he said no.

  • Prohibidado.

  • @PrinceofPersia199 you mean prohibidabido ;)

  • this song represents my dad perfectly

  • how the hell did he count all those no`s???????

  • Cheers for uploading all of these bud. This is a great album.

  • I close my eyes and I see Gene Kelly dancing and singing a new version of "singing in the rain"!!!...

this song is so from our time and completely out of time...

  • Definitely one of my most favorite Radiohead songs. "You had to piss on our parade, you had to shred our big day, you had to ruin it for all concerned, it's a drunk punch up at a wedding"

  • reminiscent of road trips. Gold driving music. Long trips, punishing base line, and a whole lot of agro from the person next to you!

  • Why the fuck is everyone putting We Suck Young Blood last in their list? It's a beautiful song.

  • I don't know WHHHHHHHHYYYYY!!! YOU BOTHER!

  • "We Suck young Blood" is a really good song ! I'm surprised that you don't like it. I guess it takes all sorts to make a world :)

If you guys like Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Jeff Buckley, Muse...check my band White Note by clicking my channel whitenotetheband. Let us know if you like it :)

  • Also, dat bassline.

  • This song would have been perfect for the royal wedding, bet there was a few punches behind cameras haha :P

  • Sounds like the theme song of the future

  • I love the No x42 :L

  • 1. 2+2=5 2.Backdrifts 3.There There 4.Sit Down Stand Up 5.A Wolf At The Door 6.The Gloaming 7.Sail To The Moon 8.Go To Sleep 9.A Punchup At a Wedding 10.I Will 11.We Suck Young Blood 12.Scatterbrain 13.Myxomatosis 14.Where I End and You Begin

  • @randomcollision6

We Suck Young Blood is an amazing song.

  • @randomcollision6 1. 2+2=5 (one of my favorite Radiohead songs ever) 2. There There 3. Myxomatosis 4. Punchup at a Wedding 5. A Wolf at the Door 6. The Gloaming 7. • @MEYERS3000 I dont understand why There There and Myxomatosis are very popular... Im not trying to insult you or anyone or anything like that... can you just try to explain?

  • @PoodleMaster67 Myxo cause it blurs the bar between old school Radiohead and the new(post Ok) sound. There There is a nod to progressive rock which is what RH do best. Building up momentum then boom, tearing the house down with melancholic uncertainty. I still love to believe they want to play their guitars as load as they can!

  • @rabbitandahattrix thank you for explaining and not taking my question the wrong way. I appreciate your reply and will listen to those two more often :)

  • @MEYERS3000 my list could have been the exact opposite way. Songs like I Will, We suck young blood, sit down stand up, sail to the moon and where i end and you begin are epic.

  • 2:03<3

  • @kadablanba 1-Sit Down Stand Up 2-A Punchup At A Wedding 3- 2+2=5 4- The Gloaming 5- Go To Sleep 6- A Wolf At The Door 7- Myxomatosis 8- There There 9- Backdrifts 10- Sail To The Moon 11- Scatterbrain 12- Where I End and You Begin 13- I Will `14- We Suck Young Blood

  • @WeedKrop There There number 8? What the fuck?! fools

  • @dudes420 I have opinions. So fuck you buddy

  • does anyone else start singing myxomatosis in their heads as soon as this song ends??

  • 1.There There 2.Go to Sleep 3.Punchup at a Wedding 4.Sit Down Stand Up 5.Wolf at the Door 6.2+2=5 7.Backdrifts (really underrated) 8.Myxomatosis 9.Where I End and You Begin 10.The Gloaming 11.I Will 12.Scatterbrain 13.Sail to the Moon 14.We Suck Young Blood
  • @wantsomecake328

you have absolutely terrible taste, kill yourself now

  • @TupaChrist WTF? I'm assuming we're both Radiohead fans, so how could it be "terrible taste" if I rank songs on one of their albums?

Also, if you're NOT a Radiohead fan, that's fine, but don't troll one of their videos just to diss some fans.

  • GIT JIGGEH WIT ET!

I'm playing this at MY wedding.

  • the video ended and i was waiting to here the intro to myxomatosis..

  • @Sheldonrocksalot that's what comes from not enough listenin on shuffle...

  • yes yes yes yes yes YES!

  • im ordinary jap and trying to listen lots of foreign music for ten years but i still cannot find better band than Radiohead. It was a shocking moment for me to listen OK COMPUTER and since then ive been loving this band. Thank you UK!!

  • @WindUpBird1229

do you like electronic bands from the uk windupbird let me know what your listening to and ill put you in the right direction of some good uk artiste's

  • @WindUpBird1229

    try coldplay.

  • @Tuntaalam coldplay fucking sucks

  • @elscumo

i disagree. they are not better then radiohead ofcourse, but they are good too.

  • @elscumo LMFAO sooooo true

  • @Tuntaalam

You mean Parachutes and Rush of Blood. X&Y and Viva la Vida don't compare here.

  • @engeladam409

dude am in no way comparing radiohead with anybody, am just telling windupbird that coldplay are good too, and radiohead and coldplay have the genre in common.

  • @WindUpBird1229 still can't find better than radiohead? i'm guessing you haven't heard of aphex twin

  • @WindUpBird1229 lol nice intro

  • @WindUpBird1229.

I'm glad there is someone else out there looking into foreign music like me. I am a black American and I am into Japanese music. Unfortunately I have not gotten very far in my selection. I know Yoko Kano, and the soundtrack from Nanna and things like that, but I don't know anything current. Since you are Japanese, perhaps you can help me by suggesting some artists you know and like. Since you like Radio head, perhaps we have the same tastes.

  • @SmileCavy86

unfortunately i havent heard music like Radiohead in Japan yet. I guess they went more poppy music way rather than alternative rock music which i hate putting Radiohead in some categories because their music has been changing all time. Of course I'd like to share my fav. japanese music. those are Quruli, Mr.Children, and Remioromen. They at least do not make music like Justin. B for just selling.

  • @SmileCavy86

You may like "Bremen" by Quruli.

  • @WindUpBird1229 you should also try Grizzly Bear. the fronted for Radiohead in a touring series and Radiohead themselves said they respected their talent. check them out.

  • @WindUpBird1229 you're welcome, and thank you japan for giving us the wind-up bird chronicle! (love the book and saw your screen name :P)

  • @WindUpBird1229 so what is the best japanese band?

  • @WindUpBird1229 Who are some of your favorite Japanese bands?

  • @ericmsandoval

I like Mr.Children. they sound poppy so im not sure people liking Radiohead can enjoy the band...

copy and paste this on youtube. "Mr.Children タイムマシーンに乗って"

  • @WindUpBird1229 I see. I'm more into Japanese bands like Toe, Mouse on the Keys, Ruins, Melt Banana, Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, etc etc

  • my favorite radiohead album. just listened to the new one. pretty good, but doesnt touch this one

  • "no x 42" is a fantastic note!

  • @wantsomecake328

a "top 5" list of Radiohead songs is kinda doing them an injustice. The whole album is good, cover to cover so to speak... without the rest of the songs, those 5 wouldn't be what they are.

I do agree partly though, those are all really good tunes :D

  • Comment removed

  • @wantsomecake328 pretty much this.

    6. we suck young bood

    7. sail me to the moon

  • @seanmitchell88 What about Backdrifts, Where I End And You Begin and The Gloaming?

  • @Miguelohara563 im not sure how to order the rest of the album. i pretty much like it all. and dont forget I will, and myxomatosis and sit down stand up haha.

  • @seanmitchell88 I'm pretty sure, actually, they could have cut it down to a ten-track album, keeping only the best and leaving out the weak ones.

  • @Miguelohara563 they could, but id just as well have more tracks. none of them are bad really, even if i do skip a couple

  • Its tough because I will, Back drifts and Where I end and you begin are all amazing songs too!

  • everytime listening to this i feel guilty. im hypocrite opportunist and i affect everybody with my poison

  • @martiguide Then stop. Go out of your way to put someone else before you every now and then. You will feel significantly less guilty. ;)

  • Everytime this song comes up in the album I MUST listen to it atleast 2 times.

  • THIS SONG AND THERE THERE ARE THE TWO BEST SONGS ON THE CD.

  • yea this is certainly one of the greatest bands of all time. their music always evolves into something more original and incredible with every album release. really hoping for a new one soon.

  • Grrrrrrroovy :D

  • I could spend weeks listening to this on and on, incredible song

  • I could spend weeks listening to this on and on, incredible song

  • underrated

  • And I like the message especially in this. About how some critics didn't like Kid A, and wanted another OK Computer.

  • The song was perfectly executed. The bass, piano, the way Thom sings the lyrics.

  • Them piano chords are brilliant, you just drift into the song.

  • new favorite song

  • reminds me of the night i fought my best friend at his brothers wedding. i called him out for being an asshole when we were both wasted. this song was even playing that evening.

  • radiohead forever !

  • Me likes. ;)

  • Its so encouraging when a band that's been around for so long can still produce music like this..... the whole album is solid.

  • i can just imagine a guy interrupting a wedding saying "stop, im the guy who really loves you" -- while this song is playing

  • I prefer the Jonas Brothers

  • @02pete jus trollin ? haha

  • 2 People Press The Wrong Button

  • one of my favorite songs, one of my favorite radiohead's, these guys are incredible! sick bassline!

  • really different i love it!

  • I always love their album artwork, artsy without going overboard. Always interesting and appropriate.

  • most underrated song on Hail to the Thief.

  • @buzzbigwig730 I know. I love the melody. It's almost a classic pop song with modern music lol...

  • It annoys me how all the songs on this album have alternate titles, seems really novelty.

  • @Jobizzie I actually prefer some of their alternate titles, like The Boney King of Nowhere instead of There There, to me it just sounds more fitted to the song.

  • what a flow with the bass

  • One of my favorites on the album even though its very similar to "That's All" by Genesis.

  • Hail to the THief was way better than In Rainbows

  • @YerJob I don't know about that, but it was quite an album

  • @YerJob

Hail to the Theif was more challenging than In Rainbows. I don't know, I couldn't really decide. Both are great albums in their own way. There are some incredible songs on In Rainbows in my mind, notably 15 Step, Nude, and Videotape.

  • my favorite song from this album!

  • no no no no no no no no

  • amnesiac = kid a = okay computer = hail to the theif = in rainbows

they're all works of true musical genious

  • @rdaidsicoghoelafd you forgot The Bends.

  • @rdaidsicoghoelafd I couldn't agree more - very seldom does a band come along that completely breaks all trends and boundaries with their music. Radiohead are constantly evolving their music and I think I would probably shed a tear if any single album were to be taken away from me. I hope they will be remembered in the coming ages - up there with many of the other great composers, for that is what they are.

  • LOVE the title of this song almost as much as the song itself.

  • Whoever said that this song proves that Radiohead isn't a pretentious band hit the nail with the hammer. Lyrically it is extremely simple, so for all of it's interesting instrumentation, Radiohead realize that not everyone is interested on obscure or grand ideas. In a way, Radiohead turn the pedestrian into the artistic, bring music to the darkest moments of our lives, giving something that we can ALL relate to.

  • I h8 ppl who think they flopped on this.. I think its so dam good I got it on vynil to hear every awsome apect of it... its amazing! especialy this song

  • so fucking awsome

  • this song shows that thom yorke is an amazing singer!

  • all about fucking up a beautiful thing

  • This is a superb song...great for chilling out to after a few beer on a late night. Radiohead :adore:

  • LOL. "no x42"

How about: No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no.

  • People say Ok Computer was their best album, i love Ok Computer, but to me, Hail to the theif is where it's at!

  • favorite band

  • people who complain about how cryptic radiohead are, need to shut up and listen to this

  • exactly man

  • veel quiet funk yet not really quite funky enough

  • just got to love that chorus

  • must be my fave off of this album.... and possibly one of my fave radiohead songs ever... just can't get enough of that bass :D

  • there's basically nothing wrong with this album

same with kid a and amnesiac

as a musical generality, though, all of radiohead's stuff is pure genius and awesome

my fav from this album changes all the time, however, the gloaming will always be higher than the others

  • It's my favourite album from them. I like it an awful lot.

  • this song isn't even good. in fact i dislike it very much! jk. its one of my favorite songs at the moment. and hail to the thief is fucking boss

  • @Roopfert

Why do you dislike this one?

  • i was joking lolllolololloll

  • Thom Yorke once said '' If you asked 100 people if they liked radiohead at least 30 of them would say no'' i think its alot more then that. on the other hand those who know and love radiohead seem to understand that there the best around in our time and that all other artists must be juged thus

  • More like "if you asked 100 people if they liked Radiohead, 30 of them would know the song 'Creep' and 10 of them would like it"

Most underrated band of all time.

  • @PunkFictionProdction I would hardly called them underrated. Mostly people who are like that are stupid Americans who wouldn't know good music if Thom Yorke himself shoved his finger up their butt (I'm American and love Radiohead and NOT JUST CREEP). Everyone in the music business loves them and respects them on a huge level. Remember they can pretty much go on a tour just for shits and giggles and sell out STADIUMS!

    Radiohead 4 life

  • @MIKEDURSTEWITZ Amen to that.
