I have one just like that, all stock except for a Cobra megaphone exhaust system. Mine can do almost 50mph flat out. Also have 2 00' Ranchers and 09' Rancher AT.

How do i get the reverse too work on the trx 250 do you have to pull than handle in?

if it is the same as this one you put it in N, push the RED button in on the left handle bar and downshift.

Alright, first:

There is a little red button with an -R- on the left hand side of the handle bar close to the brake

You have to push that down, pull the brake lever back, and then shift into reverse.

Mine only shifts into reverse if im in neutral
